Mail Call Monday..... It Finally Arrived

Afternoon everyone.....

If you’ve been following my posts, roughly a month ago I did a post on the pre-sale of the ninth coin of the Queen’s Beat series in the ten ounce size.

Yes, I’m well aware that the two ounce version has been over for quite a while now. But the ten ounce version was not started until after the third release of the series.

While I am not a big fan of buying silver with these stupid ridiculous premiums. There was and is absolutely no chance of me not completing this series.

This series has appreciated so much already. I can hardly think of where the numbers will be five or ten years from now.

The mintage on these ten ounce coins is actually quite low for a Royal Mint offering. All of the Queen’s Beast coins show unlimited mintage. That was at time of release, they are not firing up the presses to run more of any of these coins.

So, the ninth coin release in the ten ounce version is the White Horse of Hanover. And mine was delivered today.

I hadn't noticed that they updated the queen's portrait again! Wow.
The British coin designs have always been so CLASSIC, and this is a beautiful example. I've shifted my numismatic approach to junk, although I still have a pile of collectible pieces. I would challenge your opinion that silver is selling at a premium right now... I actually feel like it is undervalued and being artificially held down (and with an unprecedented economic crash looming, it is one of the safest bets around). Just thinking out loud though.

While I agree with you that silver is undervalued. It has been undervalued for a long time now. The premiums have never ever been this stupid. I’ve been buying silver and coins for over 30 years and never saw premiums like this. Not even during the monster bull run on silver in 2011 when silver hit $48 an ounce. You could still buy silver for $1 over whatever spot was.

Oh, okay... I understand what you mean by "premium" now. I shop at a place here in Canada called COLONIAL ACRES and their junk prices are a little less than $2 over spot for most of it. Not much stock at the moment, but they're quite active.

I just save as much and put my money in metals.
I am very attracted to those, and it is a choice.
I really could not afford it, bestie!
