It is not really a collaboration. CubFinance is a clone of GooseFinance which is a clone of PancakeSwap. Kingdoms is a smartcontract based on Autofarm and using Pancakeswap farms. I doubt that the devs at Panakeswap have ever heard about CubFinance yet.

Still, it is a really cool feature.

Oh I see. Yeah, you are right. There is a lot of hype going on. Did cost my a lot of money because I was new to DeFi and sat way too long on CUBs in the den. The loss still hurts.

Thankfully I sold most of the Cub I earned for stables, although I held onto 1000, cub returns were too tempting!

I've bought a few more recently - the price is now holding up remarkably well!

As long as you didn't buy any when it was $2 or more then it's mostly free money so not too worry!

Good to see SPT holdings are part of the new SPS airdrop btw!

I have already realized the loss and sold. Holding platform tokens only makes sense when there strong incentives to keep them. But most people just sell their earned CUBs, pushing the price lower and lower. Only when CubFinance introduces Ellipsis staking or something like that, CUB might get a chance to go up again. And soon is not soon enough for me right now.

Funny how no one committed to predicting that CubFi would create a nice off-ramp for people sell their Leo investments!

I guess that's the problem with a bubble platform - no one's going to vote for something that makes that kind of prediction, so no one writes about it!

Given that's what everyone's used it for, there were clearly plenty of people who THOUGHT that was going to happen!

It is, but I guess, the timing is not very good. I have been seeing price decline consistently. I bought around 10k Leos few days back and now I am like 40% down in my investments. Still I am gathering as much as Leo I can. I definitely have interest to invest in CUB, but just holding up to see how the market unveils.

That is how I have bought more than 10k Leo, it is an opportunity. I had bought hive in 9 cents, so buying Leo in fractions of hive, is as good as buying in original price :)

I understand your loss, I have over 20k Leo, but I am recouping much of that loss on paper in yields on Cubfinance. While it is true that the price of Cub and Leo are down I am still earning quite a bit in the farms. Additionally I have used the knowledge I learned to more critically assess where I put my money, and preserve more of my gains in stable coins.

I am diversifying my investments into PanCake Swap and Polygon. I suggest you look at the last two articles I wrote on Polygon and consider protecting your gains with investments in stable coin asset pairs, so 50% of your gains are protected and the majority of your invested capitol.

I don’t mean to reply like an expert, I am not, but I am willing to share what I learned on my journey thus far.

@khal left a note in Leofinance discord that it’s a front end glitch, but on the back end your earnings are accumulating!

Crypto land is always coming up with new ways to earn. Just when a person thinks they got things figured out.... BOOM something else is on the horizon. I fell like an old crypto dinasaur not utilizing my assets to their full potential. In either case I'll likely just keep pushing forward like I'm doing, earning via blogging and some trading.
