Read.cash Make A Strategic Move!

new bch.pngA New Chapter

Ever since Read.cash made the shift from the points system to the AI version, the site has seen an influx of new users. Although there had been a significant number of users posting on the site, many were discouraged by the amount they were earning. Previously, unless another user tipped your content, you had no earnings apart from the points system. Currently, the Random Rewarder is navigating his way through the content in order to reward what he has been programmed to view as valuable.

This sometimes works well and other times not. I have seen terribly written work being rewarded, while great work has been sidelined. This is not always the case and overall I must say that it does work better than the previous system.

Even more recently Read.cash introduced Noise.cash , which has gone on to be even more successful than Read.cash in my opinion. By this I am referring to engagement and user base. The amount of users on Noise is currently higher than that of Read and that is only in a matter of weeks. The engagement tends to be very high and is largely due to the incentive of monetization.

At the same time engagement on Read has seen a decline, which is to be expected I suppose. The positive side of this shift is that many Read members utilize Noise as a channel to direct viewers to their content on Read. This brings new users to Read, new subs to users on Read and hopefully more earnings on Read. In the data below, it is clear that the introduction of Noise has brought a fresh surge to the Read.cash user base.

It is quite likely that this will continue to grow moderately as a result of Noise generating new users on Read. It could be said that Noise is way more successful than Read but then Noise is actually owned by Read. So even though that may be true in one sense, in real terms it is inconsequential as Read continues to benefit from the success of Noise. This is a strategic move that is worthy of credit. A move that helps Read continue further adoption and creates a whole new platform full of engagement and continuous content.

The Longevity & Rewards

This is obviously a concern to users, as we have no idea how these sites will be funded indefinitely. Marc De Mesel has played a key role in donating to the fund, which has been absolutely instrumental and key in the success of these sites. However, it would be more affirming to see some type of continuous infrastructure in place in order to secure cash flow. Whether ad revenue, or other creative advertising techniques.

Perhaps there are further plans in the pipeline that users have no knowledge of at this point, which I hope is the case. For now the fund is well funded and both Read and Noise are looking financially stable in the medium term. The fund is currently in excess of $1 million and pays out $500 per day on Read.cash. I am unsure of the amount being distributed on Noise.cash. We will have to wait and see how this journey unfolds.

So, whether you enjoy micro blogging and are seeking an alternative to the giants such as Twitter, or if you enjoy writing lengthier articles, these two alternatives are definitely worth checking out! Especially since you are actually being rewarded for your time and interaction.

In short, give credit where credit is due. Good move team! A strategic move that will continue to pay dividends.
