Following the latest 1 drachma coin, this is the commemorative issue from the Regime of the Colonels of 21 April 1967. This also has the portrait of King Constantine II on the back but bears the picture of the Phoenix rising from its flames, a symbol of the Regime, on the front.

The coin
This is a circulating commemorative coin from the Third Modern Drachma coin period that circulated from 1971 to 1973. It is made of copper-nickel, weighs 4 gr, has a diameter of 21 mm and a thickness of 1.55 mm.
