Holding, Use-case, Coin Supply...

The three major pillars which determines the future of the coin and its hodlers!

  • Holding,
  • Use-case,
  • Coin Supply

These are the aspects from my POV only. If you think about investments the very first sight which comes into visibility is the word "PROFIT". Now it is certain, as all of us wants profits. But at the end of the it does not happen that way. As one will make profit and the other will have to bear the loss. Or else market would not have gone up or down rather stay at a stagnant position. Keeping all things aside. I had a severe argument with a friend the other day about the above points. And I must say the more you discuss it with others, the more you get to know how others think about the same thing which you are involved in.

The main point of the conversation was which is more important to make the price of any coin go higher. Mathematically in just financial terms. My friend was going with just hodling a coin. That's it! By only doing that the price of the coin will go higher (in $ value). I understood what he was trying to say but he was one of those people who are pretty hard to convince. Since he was a lawyer by profession.

His initial speech was he had X amount of BTC in the past. If only he would have HODL onto those he would have become MILLIONAIRE. So HODL is the key. Yeah, I know right! I mean what was he thinking ;) . I tried convincing the key priority here. What actually happened with BTC? Why is it seeing the ATH? How the future of it actually looks like? In spite of all that he gave the example of DOGE, which is going nuts by just holding. But from everyone's POV this was an extremely rare condition. Which hardly happens in crypto. But he was determined with that issue.

The main arguable point which struck him was, when I created a nonexistent coin and gave an example in that regard. I created a coin and described the utility and base talk which he needed. I created a coin named CHICK MAGNET (sorry bro @zayedsakib for hiring the name). Printed out 1 million coin. And just distributed the coin to the market. Without giving any utility or value to that coin. By that I mean, the coin is out there in the market and people may/maynot buy it. And since it does not holds any use-case and I will print out billions more why in the hell would anyone buy my coin and let alone hold it in their wallet. This seemed to trike him real bad lol. But like I said, it is hard to make someone understand, who does not want to understand ;)

My key point here is among different things, these three Holding, Use-case, Coin Supply key points plays a major role in demand of a coin. Which will eventually make an effect in the price of a coin. Thus the long term vision. What do you think is the main reasons for a coin to reach a certain value? Do leave your thoughts ;)
