Faucets

I remember the days when there were Bitcoin faucets all over the place on the internet. I am speaking of 2012 through 2015. Depending on the value of BTC back then, you could get 20000 satoshi every hour or half an hour. Just imagine that! Every half an hour. That is 48 times a day, which is of course not achievable, but still. Let's just say you got 200000 satoshi per day, which was worth a few pennies back then, but today, that is about 75 USD! So, if you consistently used those faucets for a few years, you could have tapped a small fortune just from those faucets alone. Maybe over 100000,00 USD worth of Bitcoin today.
The first Bitcoin faucet, run by Gavin Andresen, gave people 5 BTC per day! That is just nuts, but it really did. Imagine you tanked a few there every now and then... Hello Bahamas!

There will be people that have done that, and HODL-ed. But most probably gambled them away or, spent it, or just sold it for USD when BTC was worth a 1000 USD. That is completely normal, back then, we dreamt of BTC being worth 40k, but truly believing it? Not many did, I think. But it is a reality now, and we can't go back in time. But it still can teach us a lesson. The lesson that even a faucet of 5 satoshi per hour, could be worth thousands of dollars in a few years. I certainly am aware of that! So treasure every satoshi, Hive, Leo or other Token you can get your hands on. It is possibly the future of your children... Remember that!
