NFT madness everywhere…

Apparently these days you have to have created an NFT before you had your morning coffee and your morning shit. I am getting slammed in the face with advertising around NFT’s and creating them, from when I open my phone or computer up until I close it.

This was in my Instagram feed today, apparently you have an app now, that can make your Instagram posts into NFT’s very easily. So far so good. But how in heaven’s name is this creating value. I mean, who the fuck is interested in buying an NFT of me having a beer, which is the average Instagram post of me. I see this could help artists, and maybe extremely beautiful women and some pictures of them. But further than that, this will create a big load of crap which will disappoint a lot of people.

NFT’s have a place in crypto, but right now, it looks like just about anything is a possible NFT… It is maybe, but are they worth something? That’s a different question!

I totally agree ! There will be a few which are genuinely art (or perhaps unique porn...). But the rest will be poorly made pixelated junk with little artistic merit. More importantly, how can you value something like that ? It's a bit like holding a crypto where every token has to be haggled over individually to find out what it's worth. Looks like a bubble to me.

But once the froth is over, I can see some really important use cases for NFT's - property deeds, legal documents etc, where there is a need for authentication and to confirm no alterations have been made.

NFT market is growing.
But There is ton of garbage nft minting is on. There are only few seems genuine.

Every goods has its own buyer. It is the supply-demand relationship. However, I would never buy such a thing.

The NFT craze is a bit out of control. I don't think most of them have any utility and most of them are purely for collection purposes. So I don't think they will survive long should the NFT market turn on them.

Yeah this is getting out of hand. If I created an NFT I would want a story and lore behind it and a strong community with roadmap. This “instant NFT” stuff is hilarious 😆
