This should be a proposal don't you think?, you're a witness (or part of a witness team) after all...

I have to congratulate you, I think this is just brilliant, your past post about this already explained some of these concepts but this is totally argumented and explained. I should read more times though and hear expert opinions about it. Can't wait to have a debate about these ideas.

I don't think my witness crew will be doing actual core blockchain development for a while, if ever.

We'd rather build on top of Hive the work on the foundation.
Same is true for most of the devs around here.

Working on the foundation requires permission from the witnesses.
So if we wanted to make something like this it would have to be a permissinless token.
This makes LEO a good focus of the experimental tech.

I agree that LEO is the fastest way to implement it and a good tool to experiment this.

Anyways to make a proposal for Hive doens't mean you have to develop it neccesarily (I think). Could be possible to present a proposal to fund to Blocktrades or any other dev group with the capacity and obviously the will to make this?.

Of course this should be consulted with other witnesses and see the support it could have.

THIS. The status quo is the status quo on the first layer so I'm not expecting anything to change there. I'm OK with that because the second layer is more exciting to me anyways and probably where the experimental tech should be.
