A jump up without a ladder
In the blockchain, we all ask to have a great value for our favorable cryptocurrency. Ignore Bitcoin because it's already on the top. But seeing new tokens emerging with a great value is something. It's hard to believe or it's very impossible to believe. Well, it's not that we don't believe it. We just don't accept the fact that our favorable token was surpassed. A lot of questions pop up because we forced ourselves that it's a bit insane.
You know what I'm talking about here. Dogecoin, if you're always monitoring the blockchain you will understand what I'm talking about here. Imagine, the first time I heard about Dogecoin was just nothing. It's like no one will buy with this coin. It's normal since the value of it was like 0.00 cents USD. I'm not totally sure about the exact value so pardon me. If you're an investor and you have money to buy. Why would you buy Dogecoin those days when you thought there's no future for it? Did you think as well that investing in Doge will just be a waste of money? I bet a lot of us thought that way that even myself.
Now, the value pumps up like it's going to the moon. Why all of a sudden? Why now when in fact I don't think Dogecoin has so much exposure compared to other coins? Well, something's going behind the scene for sure. It will not just jump up if there's no marketing that happened. Hive suddenly jumped up because a lot of people bought the token. From what I heard the Koreans did this but I'm not really sure since I didn't research because I only read some posts here in the hive. See, there's always be marketing involved for a certain token or coin to jump or go up to its value.
I did a few research because even I wondered why. After doing research I found out that coinbase listed Dogecoin. When it was listed on the coinbase people were aware of this token. Considering the value that it's too low. Many people were buying and according to my research. Actually, there two reasons but I'm not really sure. Tiktok was involved with this and a billionaire was involved as well. A little bit confusing but I only read some articles from cnbc.com and deseret.com. I don't these sites but it seems legit.
We all know how popular the TikTok app this day. When the pandemic arrived and forced us to stay at home. Tiktok became a staying place where we entertained ourselves or entertained others. The population of Tiktok was not similar compared to Facebook. However, the users are still many.
When someone popular in the Tiktok promoted the Dogecoin. Like asking the Tiktok users to buy this coin because the price is very low. It could be possible. If you didn't understand Tiktok yet they have their own tokens as well. Unlike crypto enthusiasts people, the users there will be exposed to crypto and they all wanted were to buy. They will just wait for the price to go up and sell it. I think it's happening right now. So Tiktok did its thing in turning the Dogecoin value to jump.
One other thing that made the Dogecoin value jump was because of a certain billionaire. I don't know his/her name because even if I know I'm not sure if it's a real one. We are all aware of how much investment can affect the value of a certain coin. If that billionaire used his/her fortune to buy Dogecoin. I think it's legit or it can be possible. I don't think there will be other ways since Dogecoin was not that popular for me. In the social media that I've been using. Anyhow, the value of Dogecoin is insane. I hope to have 10 of it at least. lol
If you already knew about this or you know better. Please tell me and educate me because I'm still curious about it. But if you just know it now maybe you're curiosity was answered and slowly understand it. If those two reasons I said were true. Maybe it's time for the hive to think of other ways how to make the value goes higher. It can be possible because we are not just a blockchain-built platform after all. We have the most advantage compared to other tokens or coins in the world of blockchain.
