Airdrops update! 3 new airdrops received! $100 of free money!
Update on the airdrop scene
It's been a little quieter on the Solana airdrop front since I last posted on the subject three weeks ago (https://leofinance.io/publish?edit=miniature-tiger%2Fwhat-i-have-learned-about-airdrops-in-the-last-two-weeks-free-money-successes-and-failures).
I'm putting this down to the Solana hackathon. Most Sol environment devs have probably been busy putting together hackathon entries. Still this could lead to a flood of new tokens to back these projects in the coming weeks!

- This was a COPE airdrop.
- 6,250 tokens.

- 600 tokens.

- No coin holding requirements.
- 330 tokens.
- Current airdrop value $30.69.
As noted in my previous post, the airdrops with prior coin holding requirements seem to produce higher valuations. PARTI being the exception here.

I've cut this down to successful airdrops only. There are quite afew I applied for and got nothing.

Thoughts
I'd take some of the ATHs with a pinch of salt. The liquidity on all these tokens tends to be low - particularly early on when the markets are still being established.
My tactic so far has just been to just hodl. I may reevaluate that and sell very early if the value of an airdrop looks overblown early on.
Meme coins still look like more trouble than they are worth. Waiting for one of them to take off!

Beware of scams!
Always be on the lookot for scams. These come in many forms:
- Rug pulls once the token is launched.
- Attempts to collect personal info. I wouldn't share phone numbers or email. Don't ever share your private keys, passwords, seed phrases etc!
- BE CAREFUL where you connect your wallet!

where do you search for drops like the ones you listed here? Are you specifically targetting solana or was it just coincidence that all three are based on sol?
I look on twitter mainly. I follow a lot of Sol project accounts so the airdrops tend to just pop up in my feed now. Then it's a case of checking through and deciding which ones look worthwhile and which are scams.
I'm specifically targeting Sol at the moment - it's undergoing a defi / nft development burst. Lots of new projects -> lots of airdrops. Plus actual development means the airdrops may be worth something.
There are quite a lot on airdrops advertised on BSC also but there are so many identikit meme projects there that it's impossible to separate out the noise.
I would expect Cardano to go into an airdrop phase later in the year when smart contracts launch. There are probably airdops on other chains too mut I haven't has time to expand my search out!
