Billionaire and Hedge Fund Manage heavily invested in Crypto?

Every crypto enthusiast is aware coinbase's ipo that is to begin this week. Yet there is already some interesting large investors backing coinbase. Dan Loeb who controls $17 billion in the hedge fund Third Point. From Dan's own words:

“Another conflict to overcome is the idea that being late to the crypto party will inevitably lead to one taking the sucker seat at a high stakes poker table versus this still being early days in what is just now being adopted in the mainstream,” he wrote.

He even twitted optimism in NFTs.

Dan even got the laser eyes going, lol.

Coindesk's has reference that Dan Loeb has significant investments in crypto held by Coinbase. At the beginning of last week Coinbase was open to say that they currently hold over $122 billion dollars in crypto assets for institutions. Dan decline to comment on his crypto assets at Coinbase but by rule he had to disclose that 5 of his funds had some sort of investment related into crypto.

Dan Stakes Cryptos Too

Not only is Dan invested into crypto but he is aware of the different ways one can earn passive income through staking/holding cryptos. He does not openly say he has staked crypto but required documents describing some of his funds that are required by rules and regulations discloses that some of his crypto assets can be used for staking or leaned out to earn passive income.

This is amazing news to hear. A billionaire that is essentially a diamond hand holder of crypto. Got to believe more players are getting involved and in Dan's story he is one of the first that has been open enough to validate that he is involved in a big way.
