Based on the evolution of forms of communication was born internet technology. New forms of social functioning were being constituted, or adapting, in forms that had not yet existed, at least not in these ways.

We now have a virtual space connecting different social, through this fabric of communications powered by the data network and interactions and peer-to-peer connectivity, so new social organizational configurations are possible and others can be created at any time.

The internet has distanced personal relationships on the one hand, and brought it closer on the other. It began to unite in a new space that had not existed until then, ideas, values, thoughts and ideals in common, made it possible to create countless instruments and tools of the most diverse uses, and became a space that contemplates diverse social actions.

Thus covering nuances of actual functioning such as social, political, economic and cultural activities, which are in continuous transformation, leaving us in the face of an unpredictable unknown.

This integrated functioning of the real social with the virtual, no longer for fun, but also as a job of work, relationships, exchanges, sharing and production of values ​​and culture, brings us new perspectives, new solutions and new problems.

Even with this socioeconomic functioning still taking shape, the production of wealth from the internet has been a reality for some years now, and I believe that we can say that it is just beginning.

On the internet we have this and much more, being extremely important that this space is well used. As Manuel Castells brings in A Galaxy of the Internet, we are facing new communities and societies, now virtual, and still having difficulty to define a limit of this virtual space, conceptualized as the internet galaxy.

Participating in the construction of these spaces becomes extremely important for building a better future. The search for improving human conditions will depend on what we make of these new social configurations being formed.

In this cyber space built by our species where a social functioning is found, contemplating together an economic functioning, we are facing the beginning of virtual communities and societies decentralized and autonomous.
