On the one hand, a lot of money is invested, progress is being made, new drugs are becoming more specific and more efficient.

On the other hand, we are hostages of a high cost of survival, where much power is concentrated in the hands of a few. And social inequality is perpetuated, when it does not increase.

The current government's lack of understanding of the role of the State means that scientific development itself is deceived, serving financial interests that seek specificities in the demand market.

Not all diseases have drug development because they are not financially attractive, they do not have a demand to support this development.

Recalling that it is undeniable that private companies also contribute to the production of scientific knowledge, even if their interests are mainly focused on profit.

This makes life more expensive, the more difficulties we will find in a healthy and sustainable social functioning.

The world is progressively moving in this direction, while politicians perpetuate autocracy, and little access to the general public for scientific advances.

This behavior continue to concentrate the power of those who today command the development of knowledge about our species, corporatism.
