The Psychological 10 Cent Bottom Seems To Have Held For HIVE

Bitcoin has been stagnant for the past few days which as triggered a bit of an alt season as usual.

Hive seems to have bottomed out at $0.1027 about six days ago. It has gained a little bit of ground vs. Bitcoin in the past of days as well.

Hive's rate of inflation is much higher than the nominal 8% or so per year as you can see from @dalz's excellent post on the historical HIVE supply. According to stats compiled by @dalz and his calculations, the actual inflation rate was 14.7% in 2019 and, so far, it has been 13% in 2020.

It is not surprising that the token price has gone down vs. Bitcoin as there hasn't been sufficient growth in value creation or at least value capture to match the token inflation on Hive in the past two years.

I'm expecting next year to be better for two reasons. First off, the overall crypto bull market is gathering strength, which will lift all the boats. Secondly, development on Leo is looking very promising in every way. From a financial standpoint, the rapid development of a toolkit for Tribe owners to create wrapped tokens to tap into DeFi on Ethereum and other chains is great. Thanks to @fbslo, there is one less obstacle for other Tribes to take a page from Leo's playbook and replicate its success.

I really can't figure hive out right now--where it is going. However, 2ith leofinance there is a blueprint. Plus it is still relatively a small community, and can grow in rank and earning. Aiming for 2k leo token before the year runs out.

I think it will slowly rise with the rest of the space. To what price point eventually is anybody's guess.
