(Edited)

Welcome to the weekly edition of LeoFinance stats report.
This is a weekly report covering November 8, through November 15.
More data on comments and tokenomics in this report.

If you want to learn a bit more about the LeoFinance ecosystem and dig into the numbers, this is the place to be.

00.Cover.png

The following topics will be covered:

  • Issued LEO Tokens
  • Top LEO Earners
  • Rewards to HP delegators trough the leo.bounties program
  • Daily stats on tokens staking
  • Share of tokens staked
  • Top Users that staked
  • Unique number of LeoFInance users
  • Posts/comments activities on the platform
  • Posting from LeoFinance.io interface
  • Price Chart

Issued LEO Tokens

Let’s take a look into token issuance and how it is distributed over time.

Below is a chart that represents the cumulative issued LEO tokens.

image001.png

This chart is representing the total LEO supply, circulating supply and burned tokens.

A total of 7.81 issued LEO tokens, 2.15 burned, 5.66M circulating supply.

Next is the issued LEO tokens from last week. Here is the chart:

image003.png

In the last week there is more tokens issued on two occasions. First on November 12, a 132k tokens were issued to the @leoteam account for the initial liquidity on Uniswap. Then almost 20k on November 14 to the @leo.bounites account for some leftover refunds from the initial hack.

Let’s see how these tokens were distributed.
Below is the chart of the top 10 LEO earners this week.

image007.png

@onealfa.leo is on the top with 2.4k tokens, followed by @taskmaster4450 with around 2k tokens and @rollandthomas.

Rewards from Bounties

As mentioned above in the last week there is some leftover refunds made from the bounties account. Also the regular bounty to the HP delegators. Users who delegate their HP to the @leo.voter receive daily payouts in the form of LEO tokens at a rate of ~16% APR.

image009.png

The top 6 accounts are all refunds. Then we have the rewards to the HP delegators.

Staking LEO

Below is a chart that represents the daily flow of staked and unstaked LEO tokens. A positive bar going up shows a day where more LEO was staked than unstaked.

image011.png

July 2019 is excluded from the chart for better visibility. Those are the first days and there are a lot of tokens staked.

In the last month there has been large moves in the staking and unstaking numbers, due to the liquidity providers on Uniswap.

Prior to WLEO 1 there was a lot of unstaking. Then the hack happened, and users staked their tokens again. Then WLEO 2 was announced and went live. Now we are seeing unstaking again.

Below is the chart of the top 10 users that staked LEO last week:

image015.png

@gattino is on the top with 15k staked, followed by @scaredycatguide and @revisesociology.

The Overall Flow of the LEO Token Supply:

image019.png

The yellow (liquid LEO) is an interesting category. A lot of movements here due to the WLEO and now WLEO2.

Below is a chart of the ratio staked/unstaked tokens.

image017.png

I have made categorized the LEO allocation in four groups as we can see from the chart:

Tokens
Staked4,276,805
Liquidity Pool on Uniswap905,720
Liquid on Hive443,938
Liquid on ETH32,440
Total Supply5,658,902

A note here on the total supply. The above 5.6M, exclude the tokens in the @null account or burned tokens. There is around 392k tokens there now. Furthermore, these are tokens burned only from the creation of the Hive blockchain and the Hive Engine. There is more than 2M LEO tokens burned, mainly from the sell wall. Most of them were burned before the creation of Hive Engine and are not showed in the @null account on Hive Engine.

LeoFinance Users

Below is a chart with the number of unique users that posted from the LeoFinance frontend.

image021.png

A total of 1524 unique users have posted from the LeoFinance frontend.

In the last period there is an increase in the number of new users.

Monthly Active Users Posting from LeoFInance [MAU]

Here is the chart for the monthly active users that posted from the leofinance.io interface.

image023.png

The user growth can be clearly seen from the MAU chart. An increase from 346 in September to 461 in October. This is now the ATH in monthly users for LEO, surpassing July 2019, when the project launched.

Activities on LeoFInance

Below is a chart of the LeoFinance activities with the numbers of posts from the LeoFinance interface and posts with the #leofinance tag.

image025.png

The yellow are posts from the leofinance interface and the orange posts from other hive frontends with the leofinance tag.

Here is the chart showing only posts made from the leofinance.io interface.

image027.png

The numbers keep going up and I the last week there is on average 130 posts per day.

LeoFinance has introduced a 10% incentive for posting trough the native frontend. When users post from other frontends and just with the leofinance tag they have 10% less rewards.

Number of comments from leofinance.io

There is an initiative in the last period for engagement on the platform and some of the large stakeholders have been voting comments a lot.

Here is the chart for the numbers of comments starting from April 2020.

image029.png

The comments have gone parabolic in the last period. ATH in number of comments was set in the last week, on November 14th with 1011 comments per day.

Authors that commented the most

There is an initiative in the last period for engagement on the platform and some of the large stakeholders have been voting comments a lot.
Here are the top authors that commented the most.

image031.png

@taskmaster3350le is holding strong on the top position with 552 comments. Up from the 463 in the last week. @acesontop is on the second place and @hitmeasap third. Some other well know communities’ members on the list as well.

Note that the above are comments made from the leofinance interface only.

Price

All time LEO price

Here is the price chart in dollar value with average price for better visibility.

image033.png

Have in mind the above is an average daily price.

LEO price in the Last 30 days

Here is the price of LEO in the last 30 days also in dollar value:

image035.png

The Uniswap liqudirtty pool lacunched last week and we can see an increase in the price from 0.17 to 0.23. At the moment its around $0.2.

It's @taskmaster4450le actually...you downgraded the man's user name when posting the comments chart 😁. He still rocks the engagement in here though. Congrats!

You also did a great job over the last week. $60 comments is a huge effort. Keep up man! As for Taskmaster, he's been in this engagement game for long.

Thanks I truly got into this thanks to @taskmaster4450 and @onealfa that supported quite heavily the initiative 10. I simply can't hold myself talking crypto during this bull market and what else can one do that better?

That is LEO tokenomics. Larger accounts get downgraded as smaller accounts catch up.

Makes sense. Have you spotted as well that you've become @taskmaster3350 in the report?

Have you spotted as well that you've become @taskmaster3350 in the report?

Yes I did. I was demoted by the double secret Leofinance discipline team.

It is a sad day but one I will have to live with.

I will do my best to avoid becoming 2250 next week.

You made more than twice the amount of comments I made and I'm sitting at third place..

Outstanding!

That might simply be a case of I have more time (and less of a life).

It is best to compare ourselves to ourselves.

Each week, lets each strive to be a bit better. At some point, I hope there is one with the time to put up more quality comments than me. That would be great.

For now, I will do my best to fill the role as best I can.

It is best to compare ourselves to ourselves.

That is so true. I often compared myself with others back in 2016/2017. It was literally the worst thing I could have done. It almost killed my "blockchain career".

Wow, another wonderful stats for the past week. I had missed out from engaging LeoFinance for two days over the last week. I hope to do better this week. Very healthy growth around LeoFinance community with close to 1k daily comments. It can only get better.

And it sure will do that. Especially when considering that we're gonna have microblogging integrated in leofinance soon.

That could send the numbers through the roof. I have a feeling that will have a lot of appeal to the crypto people on Twitter especially if Twitter goes on a banning campaign.

I went from 81 comments last week to 202 comments this week. I told myself and others that I was going for my personal ATH and it seems like I went above and beyond my own expectations..

These stats are truly awesome but I can't help it.. To see the engagement is the most exciting thing!

Great job everyone!

Yep. You did awesome this past week and we had some great "conversations".

It is fun to see a few people getting addicted to comments, pushing engagement to new levels.

Indeed!
I don't think I'll manage to go beyond 200 comments this week though, but I will do whatever I can to reach it. That's my personal goal. 200 comments per week, ~28.5 comments per day.

Each comment makes a big difference at the end of the day. It's actually very cool when you think about the overall impact you have (or can have) on engagement.

Another wonderful week of stats.

The wLEO pool was re-released altering the token distribution as there is a now another option for Leo Holders. Hopefully it experiences the same success as before the hack.

Yes we had another terrific week in comments. I will run the numbers but looks like a huge jump in the top 10. Terrific job by everyone.

This is all being done simply for the benefit of the community which is amazing. We can only hope more join in.

Think you but we are not reaching 900 or 1000 comments a day. Many are following suit and it seems the community is excited about it.

You and acesontop has literally the same amount of comments as the rest of the guys in the leaderboard together. That's insane.

We will climb even further though, I have no doubts about it!

congrats to @kitten for the massive 14k LEO stake

Liquidity has increased but it is all attributable to WLEO so nothing to worry about. The number of comments on the platform remains enormous, indicating the community's excellent health :)

To have a goal of ~10 comments per day is good. That is doable for most and it would boost the overall engagement greatly. :)

Wow, top 10 on the comments list?! That explains where I've been spending my time this past week then haha! Those stats are looking great great though and love the round up, next mission is to get to 1,000 LP by Christmas, another ~300 or so to go and will see how it goes from there!

Keep up the great work and developments, this is what it's all about regular communication from the official account, a drive and vision with plenty of developments going on, listening to the community and encouraging activity on the platform. I know I'm not on Discord very much (prefer being on chain myself) so probably miss a couple of things which is why I'm grateful for the updates.

Looking forward to seeing how the table stacks up next week!

You keep hitting the top 10 comments list, and you will get your 300 LP to reach 1,000 by the end of the year.

Comments are starting to become very profitable for the people who actually write applicable stuff.

They are a great way to spread the LEO distribution out.

I don't even feel like I'm that active, that's a good thing, means I'm enjoying it but I'm always surprised! Even reached 7th on the HIVE engagement league but that's pretty much all been on Leo haha!

Yeah I am getting the point where I'm starting to give some votes out on LEOFinance to comments without worrying about the dust threshold. Although you might know, is there that dust threshold thing on upvote value here where if the final amount is less than 0.03, it goes back to the pool?

And thanks for the motivation too! I need to write a post but keep commenting on other's posts instead haha!

Yes there is dust on Hive.

But for LEO rewards, there is no dust. So each upvote will put LEO in one's wallet.

I hope that Hive does away with the dust at some point.

Ah! Thanks for the info, good to know, I'll start upvoting more comments on LEO and keep some HIVE power spare to make it above the threshold.

We'll leave it up to the lead developers to work on whatever changes they see fit. Not sure who's leading the changes, blocktrades? Think they're looking to do away with the rewards pool on the base layer now but I've not kept up with it as I've been buoyed by LeoFinance in all honesty haha!

I am not sure where any of the discussions are right now. It will be interesting.

Blocktrades is leading a lot of the coding at the base layer. However, I dont think he wants to be "in control" so is not really making unilateral decisions.

We will see how it all unfolds. I think the next hard fork is dealing with some governance issues, so another one without enormous changes.

But that could be old information.

Yeah I don't know either but hope that there's some activity soon. I don't know who is behind the creation/development of HIVE itself but I'm sure they had/have a vision of where they want it to go, would be good to have some insights - oh well, we'll just have to wait and see!

I thought the recent HF24 was about governance and reducing the effect of newly powered up HIVE on the ability to vote on witnesses? I remember reading that Blocktrades was talking about second layer solutions and moving forward, there won't need to be any other hardforks which would eliminate disruption to exchange wallets (i.e. they wouldn't be suspended so people can continuously withdraw/deposit)

Just trying to set an example. Leofinance has a lot to offer, commenting simply adds to it while showing others how much we value engagement.

Hopefully there are others who are able to top what we are doing.

It takes all of us to make this successful.

One thing about commenting through leofinance frontend

Last week i had a decent amount of conversation on my post. and most of the replays i did from peakd. and why did i do that?

Lack of notifications. especially notifications about comments. because as i check what is going on, i see some notifications on peakd, click on it and respond. there is no reason to change the frontend so i could reply. And maybe i checked leo first, but i did not see the reply.
Or maybe there are notifications but i don't see them?

It's definitely great to see this happening!

Looks like we are getting closer to the point where we might try to "bribe" Asher (@abh12345) into setting up a "Leo Engagement League," even if just the framework for someone else to manage on a weekly basis. Clearly, the gamification of engagement does work... and the value is that we present an active and dynamic community to the external world.

=^..^=
