Holding tokens have risk of loosing the value of them. I had experience holding tokens and lost more than 1000 usd. Yeah, I hodl minexcoin. I hoped that the project continue. In fact, too many competitors so the project unsuccesful because it is not supported by loyal users. Why users sold minexcoin? In the early development minexprice was up to 60 usd then stable at 20-30 usd. For months waiting, creatig marketplace and issuing debitcard seemed suspended. The team looked like not serious about the project. The coins droppef from 20 to 2 usd. More miners leaved the coins too and whales dumped the coins.Now the coin is worth not more than 1 usd.

Why the community leave the coin?

• No progress seen in the roadmap. Many supporters were waiting but the team did not respond quickly.
• No campaign after succesful ICO. Branding is very important in social media. Though the ICO was succesful without active campaign the brand of the coin will be drawn in the wave of new projects.
• No airdrop to attract new users..Airdrop is important to attract new users.
• No apps developped from the wallet. Old duplicate wallet should be downloaded in pc. Users waited for mobile apps and light web wallet but nothing. With the big fund accepted from ICO developing such wallets needs few percents from raised fund.

Lesson to learn to leo

• Continuing project will bring good news to users. Leo has good progress with wleo development.
• Keep campaigning. Brand awareness is very important to make leo more acceptable to hive and non hive users.
• Reward and motivate new users. How many dormant accpunts in hive? This is fact, not hive members are investors.Many of them are posters or bloggers that start from zero liquid hive tokens. When new uses have no significant earning they will leave the platform.
• Make collaboration or partnership with other start ups both in hive or non hive platform. This will increase the reputation of the coin.
• Innovate the products and services. As leo is a reward system, it has no difference with other hive engines tokens. What makes difference? Innovatin and function from the tokens and development of dapps.

Will leo loose its value?

The answer can be yes or no. It drpends on the development of leo projects. Supporters are the real assets of leo token. Without supporters a coin will be mothing. Leo has basic supportes from hive users. Holders of wleo are not the basic supporters. They can sell or dump wleo whenever they want. Hacked of wleo does not influence too much to leofinance supporters. That is a proof that leo has strong supporters.However, taking lesson from steem engine tokens. We can see tents of steem tokens are worthless in steem engine because the tokens are only reward systrm to steem sidechain. Too many sidechain means too many competitors. Without adding value by creating innovative projects side chain will loose its value. How about leo?
