JUNE: Setting my Hive goal of the month | Like the good old days
It's the D-day. A good day to power up and stand a chance to reap additional benefits for it. Powering up isn't something l can afford to do now so, l chose to do something else.
Read on to see what it's all about.
So, here we are. I'm seeing a lot of posts published by those that are participating in Hive Power Up Day (PUD).
It's cool to see people vesting more of their hives for reasons well known to all of us. Those that can find their way around hive engine are also playing around with hive engine tokens - the likes of Leo, POB, Lotus, name it.
Left for me, the main thing that motivates me to power up is my desire to give more tangible vote to quality contents. I'm always excited when l get such on my posts and l know that a whole lot of us feel the same about this.
The curation reward that comes with an increased voting power is very enticing so, anyone that is waiting to power up can think about this and do the needful.
I didn't power up anything today. I can do that anyother time but my focus for the day is on setting my target for this Month.
Did You Set Your Hive Goals For The Month?
Starting from when l participated in the January batch of Newbie Initiative hosted by @starstrings01 and the #smi-le team, l learned about the importance of setting monthly goals as an hiver and working towards achieving such goals.
It was a fun task at that time but l was able to achieve my goals within that month. The joy l felt knew no bound. l was also very enthusiastic about pursuing those goals.
At the moment, after being away for so long, I've to admit that l'm open to do things that will keep me enthusiastic. I've made up my mind to give myself some targets in the following areas;
- Number of Comments
- Number of Hive Power
COMMENTS: Commenting isn't just about saying "Hi" or "Nice Post". I want to interact in the comment section and support quality contents with a quality comment.
My current comment is 1147 and l plan to make it 1300 before next month.
HIVE POWER (HP): Whenever l check my wallet, l just dream of a day that it will reach 100,000HP. Well, l won't even dream of that figure at the moment because I'm very far from it.
As you can see, my current HP is 2706 so, my target is to make it 2800 before the end of this month.
Well well well...
The goal has been set and it's time for me to work towards achieving them. - Just like the good old days.

Engagement via comments is a great to way to grow faster here on hive. After starting to do just last month, I have noticed quite some growth

goal setting is a very effective way to achieve your target. This is a very good way to be more active way. An extrinsic motivation to stay on track uncle Kene King. Wohooo You got this.
Korean Momma... Importance of setting goal is one of the things I learnt in one of those videos you usually shared in your Uptrennd posts.
I'm glad and excited that I was able to go through them because everything I learnt from them in addition to all that l'm still learning is making it easier for me to make the right choices.
