New Tool on dCity lets you easily see how much you've invested vs. how much you've earned

I really like things that make my life easier!

The downside to getting involved with dCity was trying to keep track of how much you have invested vs. how much you are actually taking in.

Especially when getting involved with dCity is done mostly as an investment.

However, I recently stumbled upon a new tool that keeps track of all that for you so you don't have to!

Not sure about you, but I really like things that make my life easier, and this sure makes my life easier.

Check it out:

Slow and steady...

As you can see in the above example, I still have quite some time left ahead of me before I break even.

Based on my calculations it will take anywhere from 3-5 months to break-even, depending on how your city is setup.

The good news is that once you do break-even, it's all profit after that.

Which means, after about 3 months from now, any income I receive from this investment will be pure profit.

Not to mention that this model doesn't include the market value of the cards I am holding.

I suspect over time, dCity will end up being a very solid investment and one I am happy to be involved with.

If you have any questions and getting setup or need some help managing your city, let me know in the comments section below.

Stay informed my friends.

Says I'm $74 down, which sounds about right. I've been pumping my earnings straight back in. Pulling 1000+ SIM a day now.

Now we just need a tool to discern the value of our cards.

Glad you like it man. I saw it right away and was still hesitant because with what we had been involved with Drug Wars and other games. The game is solid and the return is great after you get your investment back. @gerber is a good dev and a fair person. His ability to make changes to the game but hold the integrity that the investors in the game have made is key.

Yep thanks and I agree. It's a fine line between catering towards investors and game players and from I've seen this game does a great job of that! :)

This is great, thanks for sharing this. I'm on my second day playing. I have no idea what I'm doing but I've been having fun learning the game. I made my first 20 simm so far and a fraction of beer and weed. This tool will definitely be helpful.
