Since the beginning of 2020, 795 insolvencies of Polish companies have been reported.
This is 8% more than last year. The orchards declared bankruptcy and restructuring of 684 Polish companies. The bankruptcy was announced by 111 companies that did not require registration in the court. As many as 390 companies were declared bankrupt.

Domestic and international demand is falling, which is reflected in industry and service performance.
Trade companies have managed to cope with the situation on the market - the number of insolvencies has decreased by more than 15 percent in wholesale, while furniture and plastics processing companies have also done very well. The service sector has done worst with pandemi - as much as 42% of insolvencies. The catering and hotel industry has major problems.

What will the situation look like at the end of the year? So far companies have benefited from subsidies from the state and have barely made ends meet. If the Polish government acts as it did at the beginning of the year, we will face a serious crisis. Further restrictions have been in place since October 10.
