Something Remarkable Happened Today...
I have daily habits that I like to follow each and every day...
I start the day behind my desktop to check email and my Telegram / Discord groups. This gives me a good indication of any pressing issues I need to address. There is always a few consulting clients I touch base with bright and early in the morning as well...To again, see if there is anything pressing I need to take care of.
And then comes the planning...What will I be writing, producing, recording...This takes a good chunk of my morning but then comes...The social media!
It's a big part of my business, and I love networking with others, exchanging ideas, commenting, engaging, you name it...
I used to hang out in Facebook and Twitter a lot. But I noticed something this morning...
It was about 11:30am, and I was sitting on:
LeoFinance
PeakD
Noise.Cash
and Torum
That's right, my 'social media' has been replaced...
I now spend the bulk of my time for work on...Blockchain and crypto based social media platforms.
I'll talk about LeoFinance and PeakD briefly, because...You already know. LEO and HIVE are...Epic. And they are everything we need going forward when it comes to building businesses and brands online. Shameless self promotion for what we are building on CTP as well ;)
And when it comes to Torum, I'm not sure why they won't come over to Hive-Engine, create a token and then wrap it. They want to be an ERC-20 token and I get it...But...Why not put XTM out there and let people earn something that can be bought, sold and traded right now.
Then when the time comes, wrap it and drop it to your investors....
Anyways, I say that because I love Torum's front end. They 'get' engagement and gamification...I think it's the perfect model and something we have used at ClickTrackProfit.com for over a decade.
But then is the interesting case of...
Noise.Cash....
It's been amazing...Heck I've even been able to accumulate almost 50 bucks in Bitcoin Cash in the process.
I absolutely love the engagement there and think it's what Twitter could be, if it wasn't so...Lame lol
I've been there for almost a month now and can't help but think...As awesome as this experience has been...
Wait until they get a load of #ProjectBlank
I have zero inside scoop on how this project is progressing but I know how much the @LeoFinance team embraces Twitter and if they knock it out of the park, which everyone assumes they will, we are in for a treat!
Combine this with the fact we are apparently getting a 1:1 airdrop for the new ProjectBlank token for each LEO staked...The excitement for this is at an all time high.
Here's my thing....
Twitter is unique. It's something that has never been able to be captured on a blockchain level but the NEED for something like it, is obvious...
This was trending last night for me LOL
The future is on the blockchain....
And this blockchain is where it's being written!
I myself have been in LEO accumulation mode, as well as Hive accumulation mode for multiple reasons including the @threespeak project that's air dropping as well to Hive Power holders...Because I'll be damned if I'm missing out on this stuff lol!
But also, as an entrepreneur, the writing is on the wall...This is where the brands will be coming down the road...Might as well put in the effort now while the competition is minimal!
I've been building businesses online for 2 plus decades and been in social media since the beginning...Nothing and I mean nothing is more exciting than what is being built, right here...Right now!

I new the new token was going to be dropped to LEO users, but maybe I missed the video where it was mentioned that it was 1:1. Thanks for the info.
I still haven't made an account on Torum or Noise Cash. I usually just spend some spare time when I want a break on HIVE. I do spend some time similar to that on the Leo market talk thread.

I'm starting to drink the Kool-Aid. I've already pretty much transferred from Facebook to Peakd. And now I am getting into the habit of posting on Torum and Noise.cash in addition to my Tweets. Keeping my eyes open for ProjectBlank and what that will bring.

I have a similar thing going on as you, I am no longer creating as much gaming content for twitch or youtube now I have focused on @vimm and @threespeak, other than Theta.tv I think Crypto is a better bet .
This week I will have some Fiat and buy some CTP and LEO apart from boosting my HP a bit more in Hive I don't want to be left out of the party when this blows up.I truly believe this stuff has been bubbling under the radar, and it's about to explode. Just looking at the development, and the community that this place has...Everything is lining up!

Hive is edging close to 20 ct now :) very nice pump yesterday.
Old school social media sucks. They got greedy and starting shadowbanning or just flat out kicking people off because they felt like it. Forget that crap crypto and decentralized communities are going to take over.

Change is difficult and often comes from outside the industry.
New technology is first ignored, then laughed at, then resisted, until finally embraced, at which point everyone says they saw it coming.
This was a great and very helpful, my goal for 2021 is to move everything over to blockchain technology.
So far i have done well
Social media
Banking, taking and paying in Crypto and most finance services
Same games
Buy / selling of digital asset and services
Still working on it :)
I truly believe that is the future. Literally the future of everything!

Just today I set up a blockchain vpn, i had a spare raspberry Pi's kicking about so setup cost was 0. I just did a blog post about it 😂
all hive is where i spend most of the time. i got into twitter because of hive, and now takes some of my time. FB i rarely open.
You aren't missing a thing, believe me LOLOL It's all pictures of cats and political drama.
well world needs more cat photos and less political drama :D

I don't Facebook any more. The shift is subtle but it keeps moving further away from the traditional sites and towards Web3.
Can't wait for project blank and have a few friends that would be interested straight away. I can finally bring them in to something simple and fun.
That's the truth...And Project Blank will open it up to so many people that just wanna use this stuff....Big things ahead!

So excited that I am ahead of the crowd this time! Haven't felt so savvy since we were one of the first families in our community to have the internet at home (because my husband is an engineering professor.) I try to be early to adopt useful technologies and late to adopt distracting ones (such as netflix.)
That's what is so exciting...We haven't even attracted the masses yet. They are coming...

Aside from twitter that i use it only for some giveaways :P and facebook's messenger to talk with friends i have abandoned traditional social media. I don't care what a celebrity did or to see where a guy or a girl went for vacations.
Most of the information i need daily i can find them in places like hive/leo/Noise etc etc
