RE: Free HIVE Or LEO To Crypto Influencers?

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

Why not reserve funds for delegating to deplatformed authors who come to Hive and Leo?
I think what might be a better variation of the same basic idea is to only approach those influencers who have been booted out by YouTube, Twitter or any other Web 2.0 platform. Those people are not comfortable. They're pissed off and thus ready for change. Offering a HP or LP delegation to help them get started would be a good idea, in my opinion.

This is a great idea! We have a way better chance of keeping the deplatformed than the "influencers", that's for sure.

Why do they need incentive to join a place where their content is safe if they were deplatformed by the main social media sites.

I think they need just enough of an HP delegation to get started. It can't be nothing because then they won't be able to post anything or if it's too little, they will run into out of RC too fast and will have a bad first user experience.

Yes that is true and most of the applications do give some HP to help newer people get started. This is usually enough for a post and a few upvotes.

Most content creators do not seem real engaging with their audience in the comment section so it isnt likely that they are going to put hundreds of comments up a week.

Because there are many competing alternatives for Hive.

That might be true but, if it isnt already the case, in 6 months there is a chance that we will have a lot more than others. Few can even begin to operate as social media because of transaction fees.

The truth is blockchain/cryptocurrency does not have a great amount of use cases with social media. There are other options but they are not doing a lot either.

BitChute is not blockchain based at all. No transaction fees.

I think many simply haven't got the memo, yet, regarding how much it makes sense use a blockchain-based social media.
