Ya existen iniciativas por parte de artistas urbanos de colocar códigos QR a sus obras esparcidas en la ciudad, esto para que cualquier persona que le guste determinada obra pueda realizar donativos en criptomonedas, este es el caso del artista urbano francés, Pascal Boyart, conocido con el nombre artístico Pboy , quien desde el 2017 también a tokenizado en tokens no fungibles , conocidos como NFT , su portafolio artístico y sumado a su billetera la cantidad aproximada de 1.3 BTC .
