Cubdefi - The TVL speaks volumes

The last few days the crypto market’s were full of red. Big corrections on basically all coins.

This included BTC, ETH, BNB, bLeo and CUB, so this would impact the TVL (total value locked) on cubdefi right?

TVL was around 17 million, so you would expect to see a 14-15 million TVL perhaps in line with other corrections in the market. But this did not happen.

I checked a couple times during the weekend and only once did I see 16,9 million, which shortly after returned to 17 million again.

How is this possible?

If the most important coins that are locked, all go down in USD value? (Except for BUSD ofcourse.)

It is because people were buying more CUB and adding more liquidity. Especially on sunday I did see a couple times that CUB was one of the few coins in blockfolio list that was in the green a little bit.

Now that the markets are in the green, TVL is already at almost 19 million.

What does this tell me?

The Leofinance community is doing what we tell each other constantly on Leofinance.io. Buy the dip. If you believe in the project, then hodl when things go down.

As a result, when the market goes down, the TVL on cubdefi hardly moves. When the market goes up, it goes up with it.

Also the price for CUB constantly sits at $3 USD or more. As soon as it dips below that, then we all start buying more.

The supply of CUB is now more than 2 million, but this hasn’t diluted the price of the token at all.

Where do we go from here?

With the Leo Bridge, CUB Kingdoms and Staking around the corner, I am really looking forward to the coming month’s.

I expect more TVL, a higher CUB price and some very awesome APY as we farm other projects through Cubdefi.
