Today, Binance announced a strategic partnership with Chiliz and the allocation of Fan Tokens through Binance Launchpool.
Chiliz is a fintech blockchain company that provides sports and entertainment entities, which operates Socios.com, a fan influence and rewards platform, which has partnerships with some of the biggest football ( that is soccer ) teams in the world including FC Barcelona, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, AS Roma and Atletico de Madrid, Esports teams like OG and NAVI, and the UFC. They also have a token called CHZ.
With Binance Launchpool, users are able to acquire new token rewards in return for staking different tokens. The first tokens listed at Binance LaunchPool is Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Italian champions Juventus (JUV) Fan Tokens. Users will be able to stake BNB, BUSD, or CHZ tokens into separate pools, starting from 2020/12/15 at 0:00 AM (UTC) to 2021/1/14 at 0:00 AM (UTC). Binance will then list Paris Saint-Germain Fan Tokens (PSG) and Juventus Fan Tokens (JUV) in the innovation zone at 2020/12/21 6:00 AM (UTC) and open trading for PSG/BTC, PSG/USDT, PSG/BUSD, JUV/BTC, JUV/USDT and JUV/BUSD trading pairs.
As you can see the page is live. I had a few BUSD in my savings account and I am staking them to get PSG and Juventus tokens. Not a fan of both teams but after that, I may have a different perspective. An FC Barcelona token will follow sometime in the near I suppose future.
I think this is a great development and it can greatly help the credibility and adoption of cryptos. PSG is by far the most commercially successful French football team and Juventus is one of the biggest Italian teams with millions of fans worldwide.
I am very curious to see how this goes. In the not so distant future, I see Ronaldo missing a penalty kick and Juventus token dropping in price or vice versa.
Exciting times no one can argue that.

You will never walk alone lol. I saw you link on Torum and came here to see your profile. I like the idea of sports getting involved in crypto and since they are a huge economic company, the soccer team needs to be financially involved. I am on Binance but am reluctant to buy altcoins, even BNB, except for trading fees.
However, obviously it's good to stake for investment purposes so this idea should work well. An Arsenal token will be my choice lol.
