Seasonal Rentals on Splinterlands

The rental market of Splinterlands is one of the strongest sides of the game. The players of Splinterlands can make gains by renting their idle cards out on the game or third-party platforms.

The rental market enables players to strengthen their decks when they are in need of stronger monsters in the battles. For example, those regularly fighting in Brawls must have diversified cards against veteran players to win the match. Also, the battles may require only Gold or specific types of cards that may directly effect the result of the battles.

Before every brawl, I visit the rental market and rent some untamed, chaos legion or gold monsters according to my fray. I believe the rental market is still too cheap and there is opportunity for everyone to play, win and earn more SPS tokens.

Let's talk about the benefits of Seasonal Rentals

New Marketplace Unlocked

Actually, the rental market has lots of forgotten listings. If you spend some time on PeakMonsters' rental market, you will realize that some really expensive cards are listed on the market for 0.01 DEC or around it. Those who can grab these cards at these levels can be a good fortune 😅

Actually, the new section of seasonal rentals may let hardcore players meet and agree on the real value of the Splinterlands NFTs. While daily rentals can, sometimes, bring you good luck, it is not really sustainable as those who rent may realize the underpriced NFTs and cancel the rental.

Better Opportunity for Rental-based Accounts

As you know, once an account purchases Summoner's Spellbook, it becomes available to earn SPS tokens in our Play to Earn modeled game. As running a bot is not too expensive in Splinterlands, many people at least once tried to run a player bot to test it.

The majority of the bot accounts were based on some really expensive gold decks or cheap rental decks that consist of strong low-level NFTs. As these accounts swipe the cheap cards on the rental market, real gamers had problems with building a rental-based account when they wish to do so.

Now it is much easier to create long-term sets in which the rentals will not be canceled as often as daily rentals. For some time, I did not have time for my second Splinterlands account to spend time on extra battles. However, finding cheap and seasonal rentals will be less tiring and time-consuming ✌🏼

It has been something that put me off renting cards to use that you have to worry if your rental got canceled and with so many cards, you would often forget what ones you rented. I think season rentals is a great thing. I wonder if it will impact the need to buy cards though.

I have picked this post on behalf of the @OurPick project which will be highlighted in the next post! Comment Footer.jpg
