Reading about cryptocurrencies and blockchain, I learned that the financial services company specialized in crypto Bitcoin Suisse would be studying to re-submit its application for a banking license to the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA), something that was denied them some time ago.
Since I was very interested in this information, I began to read more about this company, among the very interesting information it disseminates, I found that for a very short time it has launched a weekly summary of news about the evolution of the crypto market around the world.

Although each and every one of the news described is interesting, there were two that particularly caught my attention, the first one mentions surveys developed by Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan on their clients' digital assets and there the extraordinary interest that digital assets are creating is observed. In the world of finance, GS did a small sample of 280 clients while JP Morgan's is far more comprehensive as they surveyed more than 3,000 of their clients at their recent macro-qualitative conference.
Although the surveys are not comparable due to the great difference in the sampling and the scope in which both were developed coincide in some aspects, the most important are those that mention that cryptocurrencies and their technology are here to stay. GS clients are more open and receptive to investing in these assets while JPM's are more reluctant. However, JPM has recently warned its clients that Bitcoin can be a good portfolio diversifier if properly sized. For its part, GS has recently reopened its crypto trading desk in the US and its global director of digital assets stated that they increasingly see Bitcoin as an investment to be included in the balance sheet to cover negative interest rates and to protect themselves against increasing devaluation.
The second piece of news that I want to highlight is the expansion in the offer of trusts that the company Grayscale Investments has added, it has added 5 new types of investment contracts in cryptocurrencies, reacting in this way to the great response obtained from its clients by investing from this legal tool.
This form of investment has come to cover a gray segment of the current regulations where it seems to have satisfied a need in the market of institutions and investors who want to have exposure to these cryptocurrencies but cannot buy directly. In the same way, as in other orders of life, the paths that do not exist or that are forbidden are naturally replaced by others.
Reading news about cryptographic technology and blockchain is something exciting that allows us to understand something more than what is happening, it is a great time to learn more about what appears to be the future destiny of the world economy.
Leyendo sobre criptomonedas y blockchain me enteré que la empresa de servicios financieros especializada en cripto Bitcoin Suisse estaría estudiando volver a presentar ante las Autoridad de Supervisión del Mercado Financiero Suizo (FINMA) su solicitud de licencia bancaria, algo que les fue denegado hace algún tiempo.
Dado que me interesó sobremanera esta información comencé a leer más acerca de esta empresa, entre la muy interesante información que divulga encontré que desde hace muy poco tiempo ha lanzado un resumen semanal de noticias sobre la evolución del mercado cripto alrededor del mundo.

Si bien todas y cada una de las noticias descriptas son interesantes hubo dos que llamaron particularmente mi atención, la primera menciona encuestas desarrolladas por Goldman Sachs y J P Morgan sobre activos digitales de sus clientes y allí se observa el interés extraordinario que los activos digitales están creando en el mundo de las finanzas, GS hizo un muestreo pequeño que abarcó 280 clientes mientras que el de J P Morgan es bastante más abarcativo ya que encuestaron más de 3000 de sus clientes en su reciente conferencia macro cualitativa.
Si bien las encuestas no son comparables debido a la gran diferencia del muestreo y del ámbito en el cual se desarrollaron ambas coinciden en algunos aspectos, los más importantes son aquellos que mencionan que las criptomonedas y su tecnología han llegado para quedarse. Los clientes de GS están más abiertos y receptivos a las inversiones sobre estos activos mientras que los de JPM se muestran más reacios. Sin embargo, JPM ha advertido recientemente a sus clientes que el Bitcoin puede ser un buen diversificador de cartera si se dimensiona correctamente. Por su parte GS ha reabierto recientemente su mesa de operaciones de cifrado en los EE. UU y su director global de activos digitales declaró que ven cada vez más a Bitcoin como una inversión a incluir en el balance para cubrir las tasas de interés negativas y para protegerse contra la devaluación creciente.
La segunda noticia que quiero resaltar es la ampliación en la oferta de fideicomisos que la empresa GrayScale Investments, la misma ha agregado 5 nuevos tipos de contratos de inversión en criptomonedas reaccionando de esta forma a la gran respuesta obtenida de sus clientes mediante la inversión desde esta herramienta jurídica.
Esta forma de inversión ha venido a cubrir un segmento gris de las reglamentaciones vigentes donde parece haber satisfecho una necesidad en el mercado de instituciones e inversores que desean tener exposición a esas criptomonedas pero no pueden comprar directamente.
De la misma manera que en otros órdenes de la vida, los caminos que no existen o que están vedados son reemplazados naturalmente por otros.
La lectura de noticias sobre la tecnología criptográfica y la blockchain es algo apasionante que nos permite comprender algo más de lo que está ocurriendo, es un gran momento para conocer más de lo que aparenta ser el destino futuro de la economía mundial.
