Boosting bitcoin futures trading - impulso al mercado de futuros de bitcoin
Futures markets are one more option within the range of investment possibilities in the world of finance and production.
Although many people do not know them, they are not something new, they were devised and designed towards the end of the 19th century as a form of protection for agricultural producers, this tool allowed them to regulate the prices of their products throughout the year, stabilizing the prices that were generally irregular within that period of time.
Over time, these markets make it possible to carry out contracts for the purchase and sale of certain goods on a date agreed in advance and with perfectly stipulated quantities, prices and maturities, spread to other goods and for some time also to cryptocurrencies.
Despite the great resistance that bitcoin and other currencies have in the traditional financial market in many parts of the world, the decision of Bank of America, one of the main banking entities in the United States, has been surprising to approve the trading of futures of bitcoin on your investment platform.
If confirmed, this decision, which was revealed by a report from the specialized media Coindesk, would be surprising, given that just a few months ago the position of the important bank was totally opposite and negative towards cryptocurrencies.
According to the same source, initially, the tool for accessing the future bitcoin markets will be enabled only for some selected clients and not for all, even the rumor goes further and says that at the moment there are already clients who are using the new financial tool.
Spokesmen for the financial institution mentioned that the bank will acquire future options on the CME (Chicago Mercantile Exchange) stock exchange, a regular provider of bitcoin futures and who have recently announced a new launch regarding bitcoin micro future contracts.
We will be looking forward to the confirmation of this news that promises to make a lot of noise in traditional financial markets around the world.
Los mercados de futuros son una opción más dentro del abanico de posibilidades de inversión en el mundo de las finanzas y la producción.
Pese a que mucha gente no los conoce, no son algo nuevo, fueron ideados y diseñados hacia fines del siglo XIX como una forma de protección hacia los productores agrícolas, esta herramienta les permitía regular los precios de sus productos a lo largo del año, estabilizando las cotizaciones que en general eran irregulares dentro de ese período de tiempo.
Con el tiempo estos mercados que posibilitan realizar contratos de compra y venta de determinados bienes a una fecha pactada de antemano y con cantidades, precios y vencimientos perfectamente estipulados, se extendieron hacia otros bienes y desde hace algún tiempo también a las criptomonedas.
Pese a la gran resistencia que el bitcoin y las demás monedas tienen en el mercado financiero tradicional en muchas partes del mundo, ha sorprendido la decisión del Bank of America, una de las principales entidades bancarias de Estados Unidos, haya aprobado el comercio de futuros de bitcoin en su plataforma de inversiones.
De confirmarse, sería sorpresiva esta decisión que trascendió por un informe del medio especializado Coindesk, habida cuenta que hace tan solo unos pocos meses la posición del importante banco era totalmente contraria y negativa hacia las criptomonedas.
Según la misma fuente, en un principio la herramienta de acceso a los mercados a futuro de bitcoin será habilitada solo para algunos clientes seleccionados y no para todos, inclusive el rumor va más allá y dice que en estos momentos ya hay clientes que están utilizando la nueva herramienta financiera.
Voceros de la institución financiera mencionaron que el banco adquirirá opciones a futuro en la bolsa de valores de CME (Chicago Mercantile Exchange) un proveedor habitual de futuros de bitcoin y quienes recientemente han anunciado un nuevo lanzamiento referido a contratos de microfuturos de bitcoin.
Estaremos expectantes a la confirmación de esta noticia que promete hacer mucho ruido en los mercados financieros tradicionales alrededor del mundo.
