My last post for 2020 and some crypto related news (but mostly good wishes for the next year)

Crypto gone mad? Seems like it. My portfolio is at all time high, and i started to wonder how much i can resist looking at it, as my mind is keep telling me to send everything to the bank account. I wonder if i would last until BTC reach 50k, not even talking about the 100k mark. So, what happened lately?

  • Better than gold and even better at being gold than gold, these is the BTC desciption at Skybridge Capital, as they just invested almost 200 millions into it, trying to appeal to their investors. Greenpro Capital (another NASDAQ listed big company) also said they plan to invest 100 millions in BTC. More than that, VanEck will try to propose a Bitcoin ETF to SEC, for the second time. Third's the lucky time?

  • Ripple is playing with the Americans heart, stating that SEC Lawsuit Hurt ‘Countless Innocent XRP Retail Holders’. Even Coinbase, as they stop trading XRP, are facing a lawsuit in California as they are told that the firm violated the state’s unfair competition laws by making a commission from the sale of XRP. Bittrex and Binance US also delisted XRP token. Litecoin (LTC) is now ranked #3 in the cryptocurrency Top10, with XRP dropping on #4.

  • Yesterday best altcoin to hold were CEL, CRV and DOT, increasing with 20%, 13% and 10%. Today UNI and THETA are the stars, with 22% and 14% increase, while DOT jumps another 12% up.

  • From sport world, Russell Okung will become the first professional athlete to receive 50% of his paycheck in bitcoin. He is a supporter of cryptocurrency market, and desired to be paid in crypto.

  • It pays to be a BTC miner, as more than 1 million dollars per hours are paid now in fees for the miners. Most people are optimistic, with almost 60% of the experts believing that BTC will continue to increase until the second half of 2021, and some seeing it going up until 2024. CityBank predicts 300k+ for 1 BTC, while Bloomberg see it going up to 50k. PlanB see it up to 100k, while Anton Wahlman see Bitcoin going back to zero and dissapearing completely.
