These are basically paper silver and something i personal don't like as i believe you need to hold precious metals to properly own them

I'm on the other side of the fence, here's why:

You don't have to invest in security: You'd have to hold and trade a lot of silver to recuperate the cost of buying decent vault(s) , which also brings the next problem: more silver -> bigger or more vault(s), physical space to put it and other security measures since you will want to protect that stuff the more you have it.

Liquidity and transport: ETC are bought and sold with a few clicks. Physical silver not quite, plus the risk and costs when in transport. Also more silver the more it will cost.

Just my opinion.

For an investment club, ETC is 100% to the best option as they are easily traded, you can buy them at the silver spot price and there are no holding fees.

For a personal stacker, i think that you need to hold it yourself, in a vault are in a safe at home. It costs more for sure having to get is delivered but when you hold your own silver, you also have a resale premium if you have bought a coin that is part of a popular series are something. As a silver stacker for 6 years, i sleep better at night knowing where my money is. There are many different types of silvr stackers out there each with there own plan and goals. My thoughts are, as long as your stacking, doesn't really matter if its paper are physical silver, your stacking and that's the important thing.

Both have there plus and negatives and i personally should own some paper silver as i have a decent stack and 50oz of paper would only represent a small percentage. I just can't make myself do it, i can't pull the trigger.

Great comment, thank you for sharing
