There is something worse than Twitter, it's called Noise. Cash

Today I was watching a statement that you can see in this link that Noise.Cash has left to Venezuelans and the only thing I could think is that there can be worse platforms than Twitter or Facebook in cryptos, and specifically I refer to Noise.Cash, where they made clear a list of things that can not be done and that go against what is referred to a social network although they themselves proclaim to be a "social network".

The amount of censorship I saw in that statement is something that reminds me of what happens in dictatorial countries, where you can't do anything that goes against what the central institution wants and anything that deviates from the things they say (which are usually stupid things that are related to worshiping the institution or the ruler in power).

An example of this that I could see is that you can not comment "what a good article", or place Emojis in the answers, you can not give "like" to those who are marked as spam (even if they are our family or close friends) nor use a translator and something even worse, do not post content that is of interest to our loved ones because if they give "like" it will also be marked as spam.

With these limits (that not even twitter has), I am sure that they will not get far because some influential person is not going to take their followers to a platform that can mark them as spam arbitrarily, even if they pay pennies (because the payments they offer are something practically imperceptible), and as we should know in the history of social networks, if they do not have users they will die at some point, in the same way that has happened on several occasions before.

Not having any rules for using the platform is as bad as having stupid rules, in both cases you are going to get users that are not worth having, such as plagiarists and nasty content on a frequent basis, but with stupid rules you are going to keep away those people that can make the platform grow by bringing their followers.

After reading this statement, I would rather recommend Twitter than Noise.Cash (I have never used Noise.Cash and after this I am sure I won't use it in the future either), and those who follow me will know that I hate Twitter, but I think Noise.Cash is even worse, and I also think that this should be known so that the same mistake is not made with "Project Blank", since I see that it will follow the same logic of "micro blogging", and you have to think well how you are going to receive money for short posts, how to avoid that there are people who take advantage of the system and how to attract target users.

Noise.Cash is a very clear example of what not to do if you want to grow a platform in a healthy way, and it is good that the developers at Hive/Leo see it from the experience of another platform to be able to do something even better for knowing which path not to take.

Cash (yo nunca he usado Noise.

Didn't you know we already have Twitter alternative on Hive? It's called https://d.buzz You can find their blog @dbuzz and talk to @chrisrice who is very active & part of the dev team.

UI is so much better than https://noise.cash I'd say it's even better than Twitter! Give it a try :)

This deserves an upvote @dbuzz ☝️

  • @dbuzz has been here since the beginning of 2020

  • We are the #1 Free Speech focused platform on #HIVE imo

  • We are dedicatedly Hive-based

If a Microblogging platform deserves support, it's D.Buzz, not #NoiseCash IMO

💥 Boom ! 💥

Many of your statements I would full agree, while there almost as many I would very much argue against.

Noise.cash lately became so bad because of those tip beggars, spammers and meaningless comment posters, that I have already stopped to use it anyways. How many more normal people have done exactly as I did?
Clearly, something need to be done.
So they try. Is it good or bad, only future will answer.

Building a system which would be perfect and equilly acceptable for everyone,is almost as hopeless as building a communism. I have spoiled half of my life in a place where tyrony regime was building such a heaven, communism. Ussr.
I don't want to be in such place any more, not even one single day.

Completely agreed, and what happened to Noise.Cas is something we can learn about, maybe they started without any rules and we see now what happened, so that is not the way, but making many rules is not the way either, as it will keep people out of the platform.

Giving money to people who write is something that can go good or bad, it depends on many things, I hope that the next social media platform that does that has learned from this mistakes
