For several days now I have seen several projections about the path that stock market assets may take for various reasons, but there is one that has awakened my interest in analyzing it, because it seems to me something incongruent with the reality that I have been able to live under my own experience and that it seems that analysts are leaving aside not knowing what happens in an environment like this.

What happens is that they think that the stock market may fall because of a risk of high inflation, and the reality is that when assets go down, it means that people are selling, or in other words they are exchanging assets for fiat money, which in this case are dollars, so many sales make assets go down in price.

This is something logical, but what strikes me is that inflation makes fiat money lose value constantly, and it is something that I experience almost every day and that I have learned to handle by living in a country with high inflation rates (Venezuela), so to hear that people are selling assets to stay in fiat in an environment of inflation is something that makes me think that people are stupid to have an even greater loss due to the devaluation caused by inflation.

I understand that people who have not lived through a high inflation rate will not know what this means, but what I will tell you is that when there is a lot of inflation, the worst thing we can do is to have fiat money, and we will look to buy anything that has a little value, so assets or objects keep rising in price, not falling.

Certainly there are assets that are going to perform worse than others, such as bank stocks (they are going to be hurt by high inflation rates), but holding dollars is an assured loss in the face of high inflation, and this is the reason why when I saw that cryptos went down and that there is a high risk of inflation because of so much printed money in the last few months, I saw Bitcoin with another even bigger opportunity.

There are times when markets have irrational movements, and this happens because many people make a decision without understanding the situation well and get carried away by emotions, but those who analyze what is happening and understand the context can take a great opportunity, and this is a decision of each person.

Desde hace varios días he visto como se dan varias proyecciones sobre el camino que pueden tomar los activos bursátiles por varias razones, pero hay una que me ha despertado interés en analizarlo, debido a que me parece algo incongruente con la realidad que he podido vivir bajo mi propia experiencia y que parece que los analistas están dejando de lado al no saber lo que ocurre en un ambiente como este.

Lo que ocurre es que piensan que la bolsa puede caer por un riesgo de alta inflación, y la realidad es que cuando los activos bajan, se refiere a que las personas están vendiendo, o en otras palabras están cambiando los activos por dinero fiat, que en este caso son dólares, por lo que muchas ventas hacen que los activos bajen de precio.

Esto es algo lógico, pero lo que me llama la atención es que la inflación hacer que el dinero fiat pierda valor constantemente, y es algo que vivo casi todos los días y que he aprendido a manejar por vivir en un país con altas tasas de inflación (Venezuela), por lo que oír que las personas están vendiendo los activos para quedarse en fiat ante un ambiente de inflación es algo que me da a pensar que las personas son estúpidas por quede tener una perdida aun mayor por la devaluación causada por la inflación.

Entiendo que las personas que no han vivido una tasa de inflación alta no sabrán lo que significa esto, pero lo que si les digo es que cuando hay mucha inflación, lo peor que podemos hacer es tener dinero fiat, y vamos a buscar comprar todo aquello que tenga un poco de valor, por lo que los activos u objetos se mantienen aumentando de precio, no bajando.

Ciertamente hay activos que van a tener un peor desempeño que otros, como las acciones de los bancos (se van a ver perjudicadas por altas tasas de inflación), pero tener dólares es una perdida asegurada ante altas inflaciones, y esta es la razón por la que cuando vi que las criptos bajaron y que existe un alto riesgo de inflación por tanto dinero impreso en los últimos meses, vi a Bitcoin con otra oportunidad aún mayor.

Hay veces en que los mercados tienen movimientos irracionales, y esto ocurre porque muchas personas toman una decisión sin entender bien la situación y se dejan llevar por las emociones, pero quienes analizan lo que ocurre y entienden el contexto pueden tomar una gran oportunidad, y esto es una decisión de cada persona.
