Fresh Victory For #RelistXRP Movement As Popular Japanese Exchange Relist XRP, Many More Exchanges to Follow?

A fresh victory has been recorded for the #RelistXRP movement as popular Japanese exchange Decurrent recently relisted Ripple (XRP), opening up trade in different pairs for the noble crypto. This is coming on the heels of the #RelistXRP hashtag which went viral in the Netherlands, gathering over 30,000 tweets weeks earlier. The online movement has since then intensified efforts and campaigns to have XRP relisted across many prominent exchanges from which it was previously delisted.

Troubles had started for XRP late last year when the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) dragged Ripple, the company issuing XRP, to court for unlawfully selling unregistered security tokens. For fear of being dragged into the case, many prominent exchanges had delisted XRP, sending panic down the entire cryptospace. Now, judging by online sentiments and the recent surge in the price of XRP, the tides appear to have turned in its favour.

And the change in market sentiments in favour of XRP, in many quarters, has been attributed to the progress of Ripple in its ongoing legal battle case against SEC. In one of the hearings on the case, it was implied that exchanges outside of the United States cannot be indicted by the SEC for selling unregistered security tokens.

Therefore, several exchanges outside of the US, beginning with the Switzerland exchange Lykke which was the first to relist the coin, are considering relisting the fourth largest crypto by market capitalization again.

Experts are predicting that more exchanges will relist XRP in the coming days even before the case brought against it by SEC is decided. And if it is decided in favour of Ripple, which will most likely be the case, the price of XRP will have unimaginable room to run in the coming days.
