What to do with all these different tokens?

I’ve been on Hive since august and really trying to be active and engaged. I’ve gathered quite some Hive already and powered up my account
Recently I started using Leofinance as well for crypto related content.
As I was checking my Hive Engine Blockchain wallet I saw that I had gathered over 20 different coins in this relatively short period of time that I'm active on this blockchain.
Most of the tokens are in really small amounts and aren’t worth anything (yet). For a couple of them I know how I got them, but most of them I don’t.
Why are there so many different tokens and what’s the use of it?
Isn't it a bit too much? How many different coins are there on this blockchain?

Since I got (most of them) for free I'm not complaining.
I’m interested in what you all do with your tokens. Do you investigate the projects behind the token and how you received the tokens? Do you actively invest in tokens (other than Hive or Leo) or do you convert them all to Hive or Leo?
So many tokens, so many questions...

You can convert your other coins to HIVE or LEO if you want using hive-engine or leodex. Since it takes a bit of work to do that I wouldn't worry about the little ones, let them grow till it is worth the work to trade them. Some tokens have their own uses (like DEC and SIM) so you can use them there.

I guess all of us have these. Their value for me is insignificant, so I don't bother with them... you can trade them though via hive engine.

A couple of years ago when Steem-Engine started (now Hive-Engine). There were many tokenized communities, most of them moved to Hive and also most of them have not been as successful as LeoFinance.

I think that maybe some could wake up and grow in value. Some of those tokens also have their own UI but most are just activated by using a tag, #palnet, #neoxian, #spanish, #ctp etc. I see that you use some them, that'a why you have earned them.

Are they ever going to get real value? I'm not sure, but I invite you to research which communities and proyects are behind them and that could give you a hint.

I use a couple of those tags, but I've never used #Spanish. And then I have ash, battle and entry.
I'm wondering if I should look into these projects.

I'm not sure but I think the #spanish tag give you SPACO. Maybe you have voted content by users that use that tag and that's why you have some, I'm not sure. But I'm almost sure that token (SPACO) has been dead for a long time.

Do you investigate the projects behind the token and how you received the tokens?

I do reverse, the projects that look good to me, I target to earn/buy those tokens.

I keep all of them staked or sometime just trade them.

You can delegate them to community curators and earn passive income. Or you can stake them and earn curation rewards. Or trade them, invest in one or the other.

Some of them are real gems, like SPI. I bought mine, when they were sold for 1 Steem :)

Would be great a service that allow change all this shit token for LEO taking a commision for that. What do u think about it?

It's somewhat the same for me. The best idea of what to do with them is to search every bit of them, check who is behind, if there is still activity in the projects and if there is a future etc etc. Then if you deem some of them worthy you can focus on obtain more. That process though will take some time.

On the other hand because you got low % of every token you can just don't pay attention to any of them :P
