RE: Splinterlands Card Prices Might Go Crazy Pretty Soon!

Exciting to see yet another edition to sell out, as this is my third one already. Time flies but somehow the dynamics haven't changed a bit. The lower the Untamed packs number on the market becomes, the faster it will sell out. The last 100k will probably sell out very very fast, as it was the case with Alpha and Beta. And this time around we are in a crypto bull-run with many more players around.

Regarding the potential negative impact if cards should become to expensive too quickly, I actually see that in many ways as something positive. First of all, there are many leagues and nobody needs a Champion deck to play and actually few spend that much anyways even now. You will still be able to get decent Silver and Bronze League decks by the end of the year. And if not and cards really fly of the shelves like crazy and the market basically becomes somewhat empty and/or ridiculously expensive, than that would create a mega hype for Splinterlands and be the best promotion we could think of. People would mark the day of the Chaos Legion release in their calendars to finally be able to buy buy buy. But as bullish as I am on the game, I don't think it will get that crazy. We'll see.
