On the sidelines at the World Economic Forum (WEF)

What started 50 years ago as a platform for influential business leaders to be able to discuss the future of the world as they saw it and try to use their power to make this world a better place.

It was established in 1971 as a not-for-profit foundation and is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. It is independent, impartial and not tied to any special interests. The Forum strives in all its efforts to demonstrate entrepreneurship in the global public interest while upholding the highest standards of governance. Moral and intellectual integrity is at the heart of everything it does.

And this year I am lucky enough to be here in Davos to experience part of the Spirit of Davos.

For this event there are 3000 White Badges. These are leaders of industry, members of WEF, speakers and people that shaped the world and were invited to attend.
One of those is for example Greta Thunberg who attended last year and is also scheduled fo this year. Even though rumours are she has a fever and will have to cancel but this is not confirmed.

We are also expecting POTUS to attend this year but its hard to be sure until he actualy walks in.

On the sidelines like me are people who work here or who are attending the miriad of other events that are being held on the periphery.

So I am actually exited to see and experience what is going on here and report back a bit to the rest of the regular people who do not have the option/opportunity to be here.

One of the new topics to be discussed within the WEF is blockchain as a lot of these top companies like microsoft are working on this technology and see the potential for a world that has this new exiting feature in it.

When I have the time I will try to attend a few as well and see what is going on and hopefully spread the word on steem.

We have a few big investors like @theycallmedan but if we could get some of these hedgefunds or institutional investors to become players in STEEM that could be a massive boost to our blockchain and to the price evolution as well as development.
I have seen the lists of the people running around here and there are Billions upon Billions under management on every corner.

Lets see if we can get a trickle to flow in our direction...
