Any type of minting is making I believe. If that is the case, even mining is also like earning. :)

yes, earn from blogging, mining means minting or creation of new coin. I have never mine coin since I have no the device to mine. Most my coin of crypto is from blogging. That is why I agree with @erikah that making coin for me is earning coin.

I guess the mining days are over. Recently I tried mining Koinos but that had been one of the bad decisions I have ever made. I just wasted my ETH holdings on that to pay for the gas fees. If I had held those ETH till today, it would have given me a far better price. :)
