Breaking news: Scramasonic technology could be the next big thing! (not)

As we prepare for the weekend, it has come to our attention that some out there are worried for the prospects of the future. We find this to be a normal phenomenon. After all, the future is unknown, and now more than ever it looks like the future might actually be something very different from the present.

Of course this is probably good news.....

Take the above image. Before looking at it, hypersonic scramjets sounded like a game we would think about paying a quarter to play. But no - now we are left with the realization that CHINA may soon have more functional hypersonic scramjets than the US. Probably a leadership problem after all....

But you know what? After second thought, we don't really care how many scramjets or whose are faster. Scramjets bring no value to the world, as we see it. They make no customer happier, in fact we think anyone who gets scramjetted at hypersonic speed would be much sadder. They trap no energy, in fact they expend. The feed no people and so far seem less entertaining and more expensive than the original arcade game we imagined.

So why are we racing for scramasonic hyperjets again?

As far as investing, we would like to invest in things that add value to this world. Long ago we read Frederic Bastiat and learned about the Broken Window Fallacy of Economic Development, and knowledge has steered us clear of many potential career paths that, even though well-remunerated, did not 'really' add value to the world.

War is a racket. Nation Building is a racket. Oligopoly is a racket.

We need an entrepreneurial school, to develop an entrepreneurial culture. A knowledge of analyzing value. Finding value. Building value. Growing Value. As others have noticed, a society heavily focused on servicing the richest few will need to transform itself.

There are no more jobs - but there is plenty of work! This will be a new dawn for the entrepreneurial minded. And we believe LEOFinance community has a role to play in building a better future.
