RE: Free HIVE Or LEO To Crypto Influencers?

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

I have never felt that giving away "free money" to get people involved works well. The problem is that those who are attracted by the idea of free money... well, they expect free money, and aren't necessarily willing to DO anything for that deal.

IF such a thing as Nathan promotes (and don't get me wrong, I think Nathan is great!) were to work, I could see something like offering an "influencer" a 100K Hive delegation that becomes theirs as owned Hive after the condition of making 100 original post AND staying a year comes true... it's a contract, in other words, not just a lure.

This is a good idea. Someone still needs to educate them about Hive and the use of Hive. So they don't give their followers a wrong picture of Hive

The problem would be enforcement. There is no Hive Corporation and the funds would come out of a DAO which nobody owns.

Thus, it is just a toss in the air hoping that someone will do what they say.

Whereas I (sadly) agree that you're absolutely right... this brings to the surface a whole different ball of wax:

What is the purpose of the all-hallowed "Smart Contracts" if they can't, for example, be used to simply create a rule set that allows for "rules without rulers?"
