When I mentioned to my parents that I had made some money posting pictures of my cat (thanks noise.cash) they immediately asked if I was being scammed as it "didn't sound legit". Unless it's a 9 to 5 job most of the older generation see secondary income as too good to be true.

Here in Brazil, a lot of older people that I know think about this same way.
