Looking Forward To Alt Season
I must admit I am looking forward to Alt season with a bit more relish as I missed the last one as it has been a long time coming. Just on 3 years is not that long, but time has dragged with so much negativity around making it seem much longer.
In those 3 years I have worked my backside off on Hive, Leo and other tribes and would like to see something for the hours put in. I have never invested any money so it is just time and thousands of hours that most likely meaning day wise close to a full year on here which is rather insane. It beats watching TV which is what I would have done instead and now at least there is something to show for that effort.
Like many I am hoping to see money pour in from sellers of Bitcoin and other coins into Hive and Leo as I think they are undervalued and investors will see an opportunity.
The graph above shows Leo taken from a tweet from Leofinance last night and there is only 13 000 Leo before we hit a 10 x Hive which shows you how close things are from going parabolic. 13000 Leo is a little over $2600 which is really nothing and why I am still stacking my stake daily.
Hive at just over 11 c is also a joke and in fairness not being biased believe it is worth more than $1 at least. I see no difference between Leo and Hive as they are on the same blockchain interlinked at the hip and are there to help each other achieve success. If one does well it should pull the other one up and vice versa.
Leo with the new Lightning DB and the twitter like set up they are introducing for comment like posts has to be a hit. many people love commenting as we see all the crap that happens around social media. I am not a fan of this yet I see the need as that is what the masses enjoy.
Personally I don't care what it takes to find some value as long as we somehow do. I don't think I will be selling anything this season as I am here for the long haul. Many have recommended I take advantage and do sell some this time around so we will see as I am not dead against it but it has taken so long to get here and every token means so much to me. They mean more than the 11 c or 25 c that they currently are sitting at as this is a personal sacrifice.

Hive token is really undervalued and when alt season hits, we could see hive having a stable price of around 1 dollar or even beyond that.
The hive blockchain as a whole deserves more recognition and at 11 cents, it shows that its token is highly undervalued.
Leo will highly benefit from this also but LEO could also grow on it's own too

$5 would change a lot of things and for it to stay in that price range would question what I am doing as well. Then if it hits $5 there is nothing really stopping it from hitting $10, but then again that is greedy thinking and happy with $5 for now.
I think Hive value could rise a lot if something like DeFI happens, but regarding to social media. A sort of growing trending to look for alternatives to web 2. Not just because of the censorship but because people like gamers, freelancers, developers, communities from other cryptos, etc., could be interested in new platforms.

I agree as it has so much going for it now compared to even a short time ago as so much is changing even on a weekly basis.
Yes, imagine if Elon Musk mentions Hive because of Twitter censorship, or if some famous YouTuber joins Hive. Something can change a lot from one week to another.

It is on its way. Give the development a bit of time but we could see something similar to uniswap on Hive in 2021.

That would be an awesome thing to see and something that would raise the profile of everything on here. This kind of makes sense with Leo and the team developing the Lightning DB as they are not the kind to settle for a replacement of Hive Engine but something far superior.

Well those are two different things.
The project I was referring to is DLUX by @disregardfiat.
That is not being put together by Leofinance although Lightening DB is surely going to be a great boost to the system.

I read about that the other day somewhere and that is another great project to look forward to. I honestly like the idea of having an opportunity to invest in other coins outside of Hive on Leodex if I read the Leofinace post correctly from yesterday.
It sounds great, Hive has the potential to stand out among other blockchain social networks in that scenario.

I think your right about money spilling over from Bitcoin, plus a lot of people will look for something else that can 10x or 50x, like LEO or Hive. Just wait until big investors look for a coin that actually does something and has lots of activity on the development side too!
I was wondering how I voted for your post while I was sleeping, my Hive autovoter must have kicked in, lol. My HP has been so low from voting Sportstalk that it hasn't kicked in for months.

I am hopeful that Hive and Leo will score big time as they do have loads going on and a worthy project both of them. I am always grateful for votes and especially yours. Must admit I need to adjust my autovoter making sure I give you the max as you are a decent human being and deserve it plus you are more of a mate lol.
I can't wait for Alt season to come got most of the hive my hubby gifted me sitting on Exchange. Waiting for the right time, my hubby is also stacking up some sports tokens cos he said he sees it at $0.001 next year.
A very good post and points I do agree with.
Leo is generating a model that others can follow. We will see what takes place.
That said, the development is likely to net results in 2021. Leo is going to be bigger next year as compared to this one. 2020 saw a lot of development but it will be surpassed in the next 12 months.
As for Hive, it will benefit from the success of the DApps. Right now we have Leo and the 3Speak plans as the projects I see the most potential in. We will watch to see if more pop on the radar.

Thanks as a nice compliment to receive. Yes those two projects are mouth watering on their own and who knows what else turns up as this is a community of developers which we cannot forget and why we will succeed.
I don't think I would power down any of my stake if Hive were to go up above $1, but I would most likely be converting my HBD into other areas. Either fiat or something else that I think might pop. For the most part I have just been rolling that HBD back into my Hive account or Leo, but at over $1 I think I could afford to part with it. Especially as long as I am still receiving HP for my posts.

I've been waiting for an altcoin season for almost the same amount of time. Ruined the last bull market.
Besides LEO and HIVE I hold some other alts and patiently waiting to get some profits out of my investment.
Interesting that LEO chart and although some say LEO won't replicate STEEM's price performance from 2016-2017 I'd say it has high chances.

More than high chances as it should smash it if we are comparing. One can never tell though so will just be watching patiently. It depends also when these other projects arrive on the scene as they with the right timing could smash everything in sight price wise as all eyes will be on this place then.
