My $100 Turned to Dust

Hi everyone, hopefully you are fine and having fun with your family and friends.

Recent Nomad Bridge Hack was a very bad incident as millions of dollars were Stolen. I am one of the affected users who lost some Dollars during the Hack.
Actually i did stake some Diffusion token on Diffusion swap which lost its value around 100% after the Hack happened.

I Had Diffusion tokens staked closed to $100 that is now equal to dust. When the Hack happened the Stablecoin madusdc lost peg that never got back on track. This affected the Diffusion price as majority of the liquidity was built with Madusdc.

I have been using Nomad Bridge in the past to move assets from one chain to other, it was very smooth and easy to use with very less fee.
Mostly i exchanged evmos assets to bsc through Nomad Bridge. After the Hack i stopped using it as i could not convince myself to keep going with it.

Well, i havent connected my wallet to diffusion swap to check my staked token as i know they are Nothing more than Dust. However i rarely check Diffusion price with hopes that it will recover one day and i can sell Diffusion without any loss.

It is sad to see this happen . A loss is a loss . these bridges can be useful however the security is the tricky bit. hope you see better opportunities and profits coming your way in the future.
