SIP in Bitcoin

When I have started working, I made sure I start an investment as low as possible. At first, there was a Recurring deposit where I used to invest around 500 per month. Around 4 years after I have started investing in Mutual Funds and that too small investment monthly through SIP (Systematic Investment Plan). I started investing a small but fixed amount every month without fail and because of that even after Covid my investment sits on a 10% increase year to year basis.

This happened mainly because of the SIP and thus if the market was down I sed to get more units and if the market was up I used to get fewer units but in the long run, I got the profit. And the profit will surely increase. Now people will argue that if I would have invested the same amount in March I would have got 40% profit, but let me clarify that it's very hard to time the market so it's better to go in SIP so that you don't have to time the market in the longer run.

Now if I would have said that same thing for Bitcoin. A lot of people used to invest some part of their salary in Bitcoin every month and they got the benefit now when it touched the ATH. For example, if I would have invested around Rs 1000 per month for the last year, I would have got around 44% profit i.e. way more than any traditional investment.
