I think that the pension type stuff has run it’s course and we need to figure out our own way to ensure our retirement is funded. Even with areas that have pensions funded, the government and companies gamble with the money in the stock markets. Markets crash and the pension money is now gone. That’s a bunch of crap if you ask me!

My thoughts exactly. But you know how people are. When you're young, you could not care less about pension as it's far away. Then you get a family, a bunch of problems that come with it, shortages, lack of funds and one day you realize it's too late. So I think it's never too early to work on this.
