LeoFinance Marketing: What We Can Learn from "Echo" Chambers

So, we've all seen many Leo.Finance posts regarding Noise.cash and they are important because we are watching how a new microblogging site and the economy evolves in real time.

I'm not going into the ins and outs because they have been done, but they are good reads. Frankly, until we get a search function around here, I'd like to see more.

But my point here is that Noise.cash is releasing new features quickly and there latest is called "Chambers". Such an ironic name because they are actually just Echo Chambers and that can be bad!!

In short, a chamber is just a "catagory" that you can subscribe to easily click in to read and post. @friendlymoose created https://noise.cash/n/leofinance and it's a place for Leos.

But, we need to be careful how we use it. I went in and watched the activity over the 1st 24 hours and it had become a place where people spammed their Leo.Finance articles which basically takes away the value of the place.

I know for some reason we are told to blast our articles all over Social Media as some effective marketing ploy but noise should be different. Here's why.

The first members of the "chamber" are all already on Leo.Finance and spamming links to ourselves serves no purpose. It' amounts to mere vote begging and the chamber can be so much more than that.

I went in and dropped a post about my feelings on this and those that replied, agreed. And today it's already started to move the right direction. (As I see it. Other visions welcome)

To me the purpose of Noise.cash (although I'm addicted to it) and the Leo Finance Chamber are marketing funnels for https://leofinance.io/ itself.

Noise.Cash is fertile hunting ground for Leofinance and we can meet a lot of like minded people and funnel them into the Chamber so they can learn about LeoFinance. It's like a discord and it's pretty cool.

Explainer articles and articles about things people oughta know if they want to learn about LeoFinance are great, but straight-out links to your latest post will end up being a disservice to the community. We can create a separate "chamber" for that if we want.

If anyone disagrees with me that the chamber should be a marketing funnel and a "discord like" place to hang out and dump our tips on each other that's fine. I like all opinions but these chambers do an excellent job of filtering out the noise on noise cash and we can take advantage of that in a big way.
