and scam wallets are a popular way to do this, so read on to know how you can spot them.

Did you know that scammers can now buy search terms and Ad space on some search engines. Whether searching for Trust Wallet, Mathwallet, Exodus, or Algorand, the results showed that the first to third ranked sites were all scam sites where fake wallet applications would be downloaded.

Remember to add frequently used websites to your browser favorites or bookmarks, you will know in that moment that it is a different website.

Always double check the project information on different channels or sources: When learning about a project, you can start by searching for information on Twitter and so on. The cost for scammers to supervise multiple platforms is much costlier than making a fake website only. Do not forget, these platforms usually have links to the real official website.

discuss with a trusted friend around you: Ask someone who has basic knowledge of blockchain and who you are familiar with in real life. Do not ask in Telegram groups, (I got scammed for the first time in a telegram group 😁😩) where you can easily be scammed.

Fake websites do not support multiple languages. and if they ever do, their translations are done by software and cannot be as clean as the official websites, which are translated by human translators. But like I said these guys are becoming smarter.
