Recently there has been a lot of phishing links spreading around, they drop it as a comment on your post and some even went as far as dropping a private message for you on discord, be careful of freebies guy because that is what they use to lure their victims, click this link do blah blah derpy derp and get 100 hive, it is a lie and do not fall for it..

I actuallly witnessed one that happen to a close friend of mine, we were chatting on a discord server when he raised an alarm that someone withdrew his liquid hive and the unknown have also initiated a power down from his account, he was stunned for some time until questions and ideas started flowing, the questions were did he give any one his keys, did he click on any link that could have given hackers access to his wallet but he said he actually clicked on many links and can't really say which one is the cause of his problem and then it was suggested he should try and retrieve his account, if he had use neoxian as his recovery agent, it would have been easy but he didn't so he had to go through another process and at the end, he recovered his account and only lost his liquid hive and hbd..

I guess this is another reason why the 13 weeks power down is a good thing because if it had been that the hive power can be taken out all at once. he would have lost all what he used 2 years to build in a minute.

Tho this happened 2 years ago but it seems those hackers and scammers are back, last week there was an annoucement popping up from many servers on discord about a phishing link being dropped by different accounts.. Here is one

I believe some hiveans must have fall for this trick and click the link given in the screenshot and at the end gave access to those scammers to hijack their account, this is one of the reason why i am always cautious before clicking any link, either vote for a project or witness or any other link that requires me signing in with my keys because years of hardwork can be lost in a day if we we ain't careful, those scammers are merciless and they don't care what happen to their victims as long as they get the money.

This is another one that happens on discord, they send you the message as private and if you fall for their tricks of getting freebies, you lose your account, stay vigilant guys.
