I am maybe just as heartbroken as you are. I have spent quite some time of Uptrennd myself. It is still very ironic to me that Jeff did something so uncanny like Ned Scott did. I had first discovered uptrennd when the news of Ned selling off steem to Justin Sun appeared on my feed. It still sounds so crazy that the guy, Jeff, who was very enthusiastic about the mistakes Ned had made and took it to himself to beat steem in terms of analytics and more went down the same route.

A lot of you may be feeling disappointed, more than lost or angry. That is why I want to welcome you to the Hive blockchain. Hive is a result of a similar, yet bigger "Jeff and Uptrennd" scenario, poetically.

I know what it feels like to lose a lot of friends, hard work, incredible posts filled with talent and emotions. I know how betrayed you may feel when the very platform you were so diehard for was ripped away from. I know how it feels to be "de-platformed".

Hive is what steem could never be, and what we wanted steem to be. So let me put forward my hand of friendship. I want you to make Hive what your uptrennd could never be, and what you wanted Uptrennd to become.

Hive is the best decentralized, consensus blockchain there is. It is the best platform you, or your friends could be on. Think of all the things gone wrong with uptrennd, now think of Hive as all those things gone right.

Bill White was censored on the platform. He was a "Guardian"! A staff of Uptrennd, if you will. Jeff deleted his post and he has been removed from many TG groups in a form of shadow-ban. Bill is us, and we can all be faced with censorship when we speak the truth.

On hive, there is no censorship. You cannot be deleted. You cannot be censored. You can always be the advocate of truth. Hive is a decentralized uptrennd on steroids.

You can join the list of over 1000s of communities. Be a part of them and make a community if you like. You can use the numerous dApps that hive has to offer and build one yourself if you like.
Vlogs, photography, finance, blogging, gaming, reporting, anything you can think of is being built and can be built on Hive.

Hive is what you want it to become. You can be a witness and produce blocks to decentralize Hive even more. You can vote or make a proposal and make a difference.

I will be delegating 500 HP to you for 90 days. I will also be delegating 300 HP indefinitely. All details will be mentioned in a post on uptrennd for you to follow up with. I will also pay for the new accounts if you don't like the SMS verification system, in the form of a deposit system.
