Greetings friends!

On another postage stamp with a face value of 1 ៛ - Cambodian riel, from series International Stamp Exhibition CAPEX '87, Toronto, Canada, issued in 1987 in Cambodia, we see Western Barn Owl (Tyto alba).

If you carefully study this series of postage stamps, you will notice that participation in the exhibition Exhibition CAPEX '87, they chose images of birds, which are well known to ordinary people.

To be honest, I would like to see images of birds that are characteristic only for this region, which, more, you will not see anywhere else.

I am sure there are such species of birds in Southeast Asia.

But, the policy of printing postage stamps in Cambodia is very similar to the direction of thought when issuing postage stamps in Vietnam. It can be assumed that this series was produced by order of the Soviet Union, but I could be wrong.

Let's take a look at this postage stamp.

For my publications, I do not use stock photographs, it is fundamentally important for me to use photographs that I have made with my own hands for publication and I can name them - authorial work.
