They have a 57 page "Light" paper. It is very enlightening but not exactly light reading.

That said, very informative and an exciting project.

I'm still uneducated on how the token creation and distribution system works, but regarding the SIP, is that something that has to be baked in from the start or could a pre-existing token be altered to do something similar? It seems like that's something every tribe token should have going forward.

The SIP is there from the start for the 4 tokens mentioned. This will enable trading of the tokens as soon as they are introduced. The second the first LARYNX token (miner) is bought with Hive, that is broke up into the 3 parts and is part of the SIP forever.

It seems like that's something every tribe token should have going forward.

I imagine that will be available to every community on Hive. They will be able to create their own SIP with whatever token they have. It will have to be on the Spknetwork I would imagine.

Considering what brofund and SPI are doing it a seems like that would be a natural evolution for those tribes in particular. I really should break down and try to tackle that lite paper.

Is it though?
Complexity isn't a guarantee for success. Specially when it only exists on paper. Could it not be said that LEO tried the complexity approach with all their promises and are now essentially struggling to retain interest even from their own loyal users?

HIVE is full of many great ideas but they don't always execute man.

Speak has existed in it's current form for a while now and they're basically unknown outside of Hive. As I've pointed out a few times people barely utilize it or pay attention to content on it. Yet you honestly believe they're going to build a robust network backed by those very same unengaged users?

Come on man I know you get paid nice upvotes to upload on their system but I think you're shiling here.. a paper prospect. You used to do the same with LEO but not so much anymore. Hard to shill when there's no delivery.

How has LEO had no delivery? Didnt they just go live with LeoBridge? Didnt they bring out CubFinance?

Could it not be said that LEO tried the complexity approach with all their promises and are now essentially struggling to retain interest even from their own loyal users?

And did you see the weekly stats? I am not sure you can conclude that based upon the numbers. They appear to be operating within a range.

Their own users are becoming routty man. THAT BRIDGE is a damn embarrassment. Even the dev made the points... "it's a shit WIP... with shitloads of limitations.." then a user used it and said.. "yes it is shit and it took 3% in fees and took me an hour to get the conversation.."

Come on this is what Hive suffers from. The most mediocre development but people celebrate it like cult members and don't call it for what it is.

@azircon put it bluntly in his response on the bridge post from LEO. "you're lucky you have loyalist or all that TVL would have drained on you and left you without a heartbeat."

Where the hell is all the other development they promised too?

SPK imo will be no different. Big shots claiming they can do wonders but then people left wondering where is it?

Oh but they take users money...
Oh YEA... BUY INTO THAT DREAM HIVE SUCKERS! And you shill the shit out of it.

"operating within a range"

Why are people putting out posts asking for answers as to why everyone is dumping CUB then?

You completely avoided taking about @spknetwork too. They won't upvote you if you speak honestly about it?
