Splinterlands DEC/ETH exchange suggestion

@splinterlands will take half of the transaction fees for DEC/ETH onto themselves ( I saw it this morning in their Discord) , which I think is very nice considering how high gas fees can be.

The fee for withdrawing DEC to Ethereum has been increased to 10,000 DEC

But, maybe there is some other more favorable solution for all of us. These high fees are not a momentary thing, they are a constant issue if you have to deal with the various tokens like I unfortunately have to from time to time, and more often than I wish...
If it is possible, is there a way to install a suspend script that will put a transaction from DEC to ETH on hold until gas fees are a bit lower?
This could be a very good solution so that neither of us need to pay fees when they are pumped up.
